摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transcription support system and a transcription support method which can improve work efficiency.SOLUTION: A transcription support system comprises a first storage unit, a reproduction unit, a second storage unit, a text preparation unit, and a setting unit. The first storage unit stores voice data. The reproduction unit reproduces the voice data. The second storage unit stores a voice index that associates each of a plurality of character strings forming voice text data obtained by performing voice recognition processing on the voice data with voice position information indicating a position of the voice data. The text preparation unit prepares text in accordance with a user's operational input. The estimation unit, based on the voice index, estimates prepared voice position information which indicates a position of the voice data where the text preparation is completed. The setting unit, based on the prepared voice position information, sets a reproduction start position where reproduction is to be started.
