    • PURPOSE:To eliminate uncomfortable riding feeling by sequentially reducing driving forces of motors for driving a plurality of vehicles for composing a train, from a head at the time of power driving, or delaying generation of the force, sequentially reducing the forces from the rear at the time of braking, or delaying the generation of the force. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of (four in the drawing) induction motors 3 for individually rotating a plurality of drive shafts, are respectively driven by distribution type VVVF type inverters 5. The inverters 5 are controlled by an output signal of a logic device 6 to reduce driving forces of a head vehicle from the motor toward the following vehicle or to delay the generation of the force at the time of power driving. Or, at the time of braking, braking forces are reduced from the motor of the following vehicle toward the motor of the head vehicle or generation of the braking force is delayed. Thus, uncomfortable riding feeling due to push and pull of the vehicles therebetween at the times of power driving and braking of the vehicles, is eliminated.

    • PURPOSE:To suppress the peak electric power quantity at each substation by determining the feeding charge at each substation through the calculation for optimizing the evaluation function and the range for satisfying the restraint condition, by an optimum feeding charge determining means on the basis of the result of a train situation grasping means and setting the sent-out voltage value to a rectifying device at each substation, on the basis of the determination. CONSTITUTION:The on-line situation and the operation state of a power running train and a regenerative train in a railway road line managed by an objective substation are grasped by a train situation grasping means 2. On the basis of the judgement of the train situation grasping means 2, the feeding charge of each substation is determined by an optimum feeding charge determining means 6 by carrying out the optimization calculation for the feeding charge at each substation for optimizing the evaluation function set by an evaluation function setting means 5 and the range for satisfying the restraint condition which is set by a restraint condition setting means 4. On the basis of the determined optimum feeding charge at each station, the sent-out voltage value is set in a rectifying device 27 in the substation by a sent-out voltage setting means 7 in each substation. Accordingly, the peak electric power at each substation is reduced, and the electric power regeneration can be utilized effectively.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the efficiency of using electric power by distributing load among substations so that the load may not be allotted to only one of the substations. SOLUTION: This railroad substation power control device integrates at every unit time the electric energy produced by each of plural adjacent substations, using unit-time integrated power computing means 31a, 31b... for the respective substations, and a feeding voltage set value determining means 32 for each substation determines the feeding voltage set value for each of the plurality of substations according to the energy of each substation which is integrated at every unit time and calculated by the unit time integrated power computing means for each substation. Feeding voltage adjustment means 18a, 18b,... control the tapping values of transformers 10a, 10b,... and the control angles of rectifiers 21a, 21b in the plurality of substations so that the feeding voltage set by the feeding voltage set value determining means for each substation can be obtained. Power control is thereby performed so that power is delivered to the substation which consumes great power from the substation which consumes less power.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine regenerative reference voltages so as to make the regenerative electric energies from respective substations uniform by a method wherein a regenerative electric energy regenerated from a regenerating train is measured and stored and the datum of the regenerative electric energy is transmitted to the regenerative power absorbers installed in other substations and regenerative electric energy data are mutually compared and calculated. SOLUTION: A controller which is composed of an integral circuit, an input unit and a memory unit which measure and store a regenerative electric energy regenerated from a regenerating train, a transmission unit which transmits the regenerative electric energy datum which is measured by the integral circuit, the input unit and the memory unit to the regenerative power absorbers installed in other substations and a comparing/setting unit and a control unit which determine and set the regenerative reference voltages of the regenerative power absorbers so as to make the regenerative electric energies from the respective substations uniform is provided. With this constitution, the regenerative power absorbers of the respective substations can be operated in accordance with load balance and the uniform untilization factors can be obtained.
