摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate uncomfortable riding feeling by sequentially reducing driving forces of motors for driving a plurality of vehicles for composing a train, from a head at the time of power driving, or delaying generation of the force, sequentially reducing the forces from the rear at the time of braking, or delaying the generation of the force. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of (four in the drawing) induction motors 3 for individually rotating a plurality of drive shafts, are respectively driven by distribution type VVVF type inverters 5. The inverters 5 are controlled by an output signal of a logic device 6 to reduce driving forces of a head vehicle from the motor toward the following vehicle or to delay the generation of the force at the time of power driving. Or, at the time of braking, braking forces are reduced from the motor of the following vehicle toward the motor of the head vehicle or generation of the braking force is delayed. Thus, uncomfortable riding feeling due to push and pull of the vehicles therebetween at the times of power driving and braking of the vehicles, is eliminated.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the number of contactor by connecting a current suppressing resistor in parallel with the contactor and providing function for short-circuiting the current suppressing resistor to the contactor. CONSTITUTION:A current suppressing resistor 8 and a diode 9 are connected in parallel with a contactor 13, while a regenerative brake force increasing resistor 7 and a diode 14 are connected in parallel therewith. Cathode of the diode 9 is connected to the inverter side and the cathode of the diode 14 is connected to the source side. Under normal operation mode, drive current flows through the contactor 13. Under regenerative brake mode, regenerative current flows through a series circuit of the diode 14 having cathode connected to the source side and the current suppressing resistor 8. By such arrangement, the number of contactor 13 can be reduced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable the peak charge phenomenon of a filter capacitor to be prevented from being generated when the capacitor is composed simplified with a light load, by turning input power to the filter capacitor, ON/OFF, and by preventing peak charge from being generated. CONSTITUTION:When a breaker 4 is turned ON, then the charging current of output generated from a rectifier 3 starts flowing to a filter capacitor 10 via a filter reactor 5 and an initial charging current limiting resistor 7. When the voltage of the filter capacitor 10 comes to a minimum working value, then gate signal based on continuous pulse 14 is applied to a peak charge suppressing thyristor 8 which is turned ON, and at the same time, an inverter 11 is worked. During the operation, when the voltage of the filter capacitor 10 comes to the set voltage of a voltage detector 9, then the thyristor 8 is turned OFF. As this result, input current from a stringing 6 is turned into slight current just via the initial charging current limiting resistor 7, and filter capacitor voltage is dropped.
