    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mica tape winding property evaluation method and its device capable of evaluating winding property on an actual machine, i.e. the presence of a cut, even in a mica tape in which an inorganic filler is fixed by a resin close to a glass cloth layer.
      SOLUTION: The mica tape is folded in two with a mica foil or a peeling mica sheet layer kept inside. By applying tension to the mica tape in such a way that stress is concentrated on the vicinity of at least either one of both ends in the width direction of the mica tape inside of the crease of the folded mica tape, tensile and breaking strength of the crease of the mica tape is measured.
