    • PURPOSE:To reduce working process remarkably and increase productivity in manufacturing flanged shafts by performing upsetting by cold forging-extrusion- forming successively on a barlike material. CONSTITUTION:A hole 13 is pierced from the upper end face by upsetting by cold forging on a barlike material 11 cut to specified length. At the same time, a flange 14 is projected on outer periphery of the hole 13. At this time, an annular body 20 is formed on the upper part of the flange 14 simultaneously. After performing above-mentioned upsetting, the hole 13 is extruded along the axis of the material 11 to form a cylindrical shaft having a hollow part 19 and closed bottom. A projection 24 of small diameter is formed at the bottom of the shaft 21. After extrusion, forming work is performed by extending the flange 14 outward to form a thin, large diameter flange 15. At this time, the side of upper face 15 of the flange 15 is formed to taper outward and upward. A hole 30 of axial direction is bent on the peripheral wall of the shaft 21 from the lower part of the flange 15 to near the lower end. It is then formed by trimming, and an objective flanged shaft is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To uniformly and easily form a plated film on the inner wall surface of a passage having a comparatively complex shape in a short time by fluidizing electroless plating liquid at constant flow velocity through the passage of a body having an inlet and outlet and depositing the plating component on the inner wall surface of the passage. CONSTITUTION:A power source switch 14 is turned on and both degreasing liquid of a tank 31 and electroless plating liquid of a tank 34 are preset at prescribed liquid temp. with a regulation switch 17. Then the changeover valves 111, 112 are operated to form a circulation feeding system between the tank 31 and the cooling circuit 7 of a die 6 and the degreasing liquid with its temp. raised is circulated to perform degreasing of the cooling circuit 7. Then the changeover valves 111, 112 are successively changed over and the tanks 32, 33, 32 are successively connected with the cooling circuit 7 and each treatment of water washing, iron pickling and water washing is performed. Furthermore a tank 34 is connected with the cooling circuit 7 by changing over the changeover valves 111, 112 and the electroless plating liquid in raised temp. is circulated into the cooling circuit 7 and the plating of the inner wall surface of the cooling circuit 7 is performed. Thereby a metallic film enriched in corrosion resistance and high in heat conductivity is uniformly and easily formed on the inner wall surface of the cooling circuit 7 of the die 6 in a short time.
