    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a frame capable of facilitating fixing of a bar support material to be a bar support and capable of reducing the working tact time required for fixing the bar support material in manufacture, and to provide the frame.
      SOLUTION: A back plate part 12, side plate parts 14, 16 and the bar support 18 are punched out from a single metal sheet in a state where they are continued to each other. Thereafter, a twisted part 18C of the bar support 18 is bent by an angle of about 60° to 70° against a plate surface of the side plate part 16. Thereafter, a carrier part 18B of the bar support 18 is bent roughly at the right angles against the plate surface of the side plate part 16. Thereafter, a boundary part of the back plate part 12 and the side plate parts 14, 16 is bent roughly at the right angle and the side plate parts 14, 16 face against each other. Thereafter, each of end parts in the lengthy direction of a bar support main body 18A of the bar support 18 is respectively calked on calking parts 14A, 16A of the side plate parts 14, 16 by mechanical pressing.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pretensioner for a webbing winding device with a reduced cost by facilitating the work of a piston and simplified in assembly. SOLUTION: With a pretensioner 10 for a webbing winding device 38, an upper wall part 40 of a piston ring 34 fits in a periphery of a seal holding part 32 integrally formed on a base of a piston 28, thereby the piston ring 34 is held in the piston 28. When the piston 28 is moved by gas pressure at an emergency deceleration of a vehicle, the piston ring 34 is pressed against the base of the piston 28 with the gas pressure to increase the diameter thereof, so that the piston ring 34 seals between the piston 28 and an inner wall 36 of a base cartridge 20. The structure as described above renders unnecessary formation of a conventional seal holding groove in the piston 28, thereby the piston 28 can be easily worked, resulting in reducing costs. Additionally, assembly can be simplified, since it is unnecessary to attach an O ring by increasing a diameter to the seal holding groove, different from before.
