    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide jacking pipes and a construction method for a large section tunnel using the jacking pipes structured to positively joint the jacking pipes to each other in constructing a lining body provided when constructing the large section tunnel, using a plurality of jacking pipes.
      SOLUTION: The outer surface of the jacking pipe 1 is provided with a groove part 2 in the axial direction of the tunnel, and a protruding part 4 fitted to such a groove part 2. The groove part 2 is provided with a male joint implement 21, and the protruding part 4 is provided with a female joint implement 41. The jacking pipe 1 adjacent to the jacking pipe 1 on which installation is completed, is mounted to the rear part of a boring machine 5 and pushed out by a driving jack from the rear of the jacking pipe 1. A filler 3 filled in the groove part 2 is removed while discharging a pressurized fluid 6 from a nozzle 52 of a projecting part 51 provided at an outer enclosure of the boring machine 5, and the protruding part 4 is fitted to the groove part 2 while fittingly mounting the male joint implement 21 to the female joint implement 41 to positively connect the jacking pipes 1 to each other.
