    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine suspension structure for motorcycle in which rigidity is enhanced. SOLUTION: The motorcycle 10 has an engine 12 that is suspended on a vehicle body frame 11, two down frames 18L, 18R that constitute a part of the vehicle body frame 11 and are provided on the front of the vehicle in the vehicle width direction in such a way as to extend downward, a mount plate 44 that connects between the down frames 18L, 18R and a hangar part 55 provided on the engine 12 to mount the engine 12 on the vehicle body frame 11. The mount plate 44 has a U-shaped cross section opening toward the hangar part 55 and is mounted between the two down frames 18L, 18R in such a way as to be sandwiched by the two down frames 18L, 18R.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layout of a motorcycle capable of ensuring the straddling property when a rider gets on/gets off while the length of a fuel pipe is reduced. SOLUTION: A fuel tank 26 is mounted on a front portion of a mono-backbone frame 12 immediately behind a head pipe 11, an air cleaner 27 is arranged forwardly above an engine 31 below the fuel tank 26, and an air intake system 28 (a connecting tube 28a, a throttle body 28b, and an intake manifold 28c in Fig. 3) extends downwardly below the air cleaner 27. An engine with a cylinder 29 extending forwardly in a substantially horizontal manner is suspended below the mono-backbone frame 12, and the air intake system 28 is connected to the cylinder 29. The fuel tank is arranged on the mono-backbone frame in a vicinity of the horizontal cylinder.
