    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize loads on a plurality of pinions by forcing a carrier to move together with the movement of a ring gear.
      SOLUTION: A planetary gear device includes a sun gear 12 fixed to an input shaft 10, a carrier 16 freely rotatably holding a plurality of pinions 14 meshing with the sun gear 12 from the outside thereof, a ring gear 20 meshing with the plurality of pinions 14 from the outside thereof, a counter gear 22 meshing with the ring gear 20 from the outside thereof to be fixed to an output shaft 24 and a case 18 preventing the rotation of the carrier 16 and holding it. The case 18 holds the carrier 16 so as to allow the movement of the ring gear 20 in the moving direction on the basis of the meshing of the counter gear 22 with the ring gear 20. The sun gear 12 is supported by a bearing fixed to the ring gear 20.
