摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device for automatic transmissions which makes it unnecessary to arrange many valves and can prevent the deterioration of oil pressure responsiveness although it is the device that can prevent the occurrence of simultaneous engagement. SOLUTION: The hydraulic control device 20 outputs engagement pressures P SL1 -P SL5 from two of linear solenoid valves SL1-SL5 at normal time to form a gear shift. A fail-safe valve 30, which outputs a simultaneous engagement signal pressure P FSV when three or more engagement pressures P SL1 -P SL5 are inputted, is provided on this oil pressure control device 20. An original pressure selector valve 37 interrupts the original pressure of the linear solenoid valves SL1-SL5 to attain a neutral state when inputting the simultaneous engagement signal pressure P FSV from the fail-safe valve 30. It becomes unnecessary to provide many valves, so that it becomes unnecessary, too, to interpose a fail-safe valve between the linear solenoid valves and a hydraulic servo. Thus a fast and reverse brake B3 is released temporarily to prevent the shift shock due to regripping between the overdrive direct clutch C0 and overdrive brake B0 from being transmitted to the output side.
