    • PURPOSE:To provide a contact detector by which contact between a grinding wheel and an AE sensor can be detected reliably without being influenced by a noise component even if nonunifomity is caused in rotation of the grinding wheel. CONSTITUTION:An elastic wave generated in a detecting pin 16 by contact of a grinding wheel 9 and ejective collision of coolant is detected by an AE sensor 18, and is outputted as an elastic wave signal. A sampling circuit 21 extracts data to show contact and noncontact of the grinding wheel with every phase angle equivalent to a sampling period by sampling the elastic wave signal from the AE sensor 18 in a period equivalent to 1/128 of single rotation of the grinding wheel 9. When a signal processing circuit 22 confirms that a sampled position in single rotation of the grinding wheel of the extracted data to show contact of the grinding wheel 9 and a sampled position of data to show contact of the grinding wheel in the next single rotation coincide with each other or are adjacent to each other, it is judges as contact between the grinding wheel and the detecting pin.

    • PURPOSE:To automate the correction work of an operation program step causing a large deviation between an intermediate point located between teaching points and a marking line by correcting the program step while using the position of a detected marking line as a new teaching point when a large deviation is in existence between the intermediate point located between teaching points and the marking line. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate point position arithmetic operation means C obtains an intermediate point between teaching points through arithmetic operation. An object position arithmetic operation means B performs processing of information from a sensor J with an actuator H moved, to detect an ideal locus line of the sensor J. A deviation arithmetic operation means D calculates a deviation between the intermediate point position and the ideal tracing line position and a permission value comparison means F compares the deviation with permissible deviation. An operation program correction means G corrects the operating program by adding the ideal tracing line position as a new teaching point when the permission value comparison means F discriminates it that the deviation value exceeds the permissible value. The operation program correction means G stores again the corrected operation program to an operation program storage means A.
