    • PURPOSE:To enable rapid heating and increase in store capacity, silence, and durability by surrounding a gear pump mechanism by a water jacket and providing pressure grooves, which are connected to a delivery chamber, through a pressure inducing groove between side walls in a sealed space and the gear end surfaces that are made in contact with each other by a thrust force acting on the gears. CONSTITUTION:A gear pump mechanism is provided with a drive helical gear 8 and a follower helical gear 9 meshed with each other. A sealed viscous fluid is fed forcibly by the rotation of the gears 8 and 9 meshed with each other in a sealed space 10, and also a counterflow of the viscous fluid due to internal leakage from a delivery chamber side is prompted to heat the viscous fluid. Also the gear pump mechanism is surrounded by a water jacket W and water paths for circulating water heated by the viscous fluid is formed. Then pressure grooves 20a and 20b which are connected to the delivery chamber through a pressure inducing groove are provided between formed side walls in the sealed space 10 and gear end surfaces that are made in contact with each other by a thrust force acting on the gears 8 and 9 to achieve smooth engagement of the gears and the bearing of the thrust force.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a hydraulic drive unit enabling fixed flow control while reducing load at the pump starting time in relation to the drive source of a variable displacement cam plate type piston pump. CONSTITUTION:The cam plate inclination control mechanism of a cam plate type piston pump A is formed of inclination reset mechanism 21 for energizing a cam plate 11 into the inclination decrease direction by the action of an energizing spring 21a, and inclination regulating mechanism 22 for pressing the cam plate 11 in the inclination increase direction on the basis of the internal pressure of a control cylinder 22a. A throttle 25 is provided in an operating oil path 23 linking the piston pump A with a fixed displacement hydraulic motor 24. The control cylinder 22a is connected to the upstream side of the throttle 25 and a tank port T through a starting solenoid valve 43 and a flow control valve 30 actuated on the basis of differential pressure in front of and behind the throttle 25. The starting solenoid valve 43 performs the change-over connection of the control cylinder 22a to either the flow control valve 30 or the oil tank T according to the on-off state of the starting switch 44.
