    • PURPOSE:To enable the disassembly and inspection of a turbine and a generator to be performed efficiently by providing a crane supporting plate on the top shielding plate above a moisture-content separator in such a manner that it projects on the turbine side, and then placing a crane on the under surface of said crane supporting plate. CONSTITUTION:In a turbine casing 1 are stored turbines 2,3, a generator 4 and a moisture-content separator 7. Above the moisture-content separator 7 is provided the top shielding plate 9. In addition, on said top shielding plate 9 is provided a crane supporting plate 12 in such a manner that it projects on the turbines side. And then, on the under surface of said crane supporting plate 12 is placed a crane 13. The crane 13 can be used to transfer parts which are not heavy in weight. Thereby, the time required for transferring parts, at the time of disassembling and inspecting the turbines and the generator, can be shortened, and moreover, the operation of such disassembling and inspecting can also be performed efficiently.

    • PURPOSE:To enable equipment for entering controlled areas to be light, to increase effective working time and to decrease an amount of wastes produced by dividing areas of radiation protection and safety of a turbine building into three, non-controlled areas, controlled areas and semi-controlled areas. CONSTITUTION:Controlled areas of a turbine building 12 consists of two controlled areas of a controlled area 13 and a semi-controlled area 14. The controlled area 13 is an area of equipments where a level of an access controlling device can be hardly decreased in the light of radioactive contamination level and the semi-controlled area 14 consists of such an area of equipments where a level of an access control is almost the same level as in a non-controlled area in the light of a radioactivity level and also a radioactive contamination level. An access from a service building 3 has each independent access route 15, 16, 17 and 7 to the controlled area 13, the semi-controlled area 14 and a non-controlled area 4 of a nuclear reactor building 1, respectively, therewith no spreading-out of radioactive contamination caused by contact of workers with each other and the like can be considered on the route of their entrance and exit to and from each divided area.

    • PURPOSE:To aim at lowering the height of a building for a turbine, at enhancing the availability of interior space of the building, and so forth, by laying an equipment arranging floor at a level which is lower than that of support sections of a turbine and a turbine generator, and by installing the turbine and the turbine generator above the floor by means of mounting beds. CONSTITUTION:An equipment arranging floor 3 surrounding a turbine 3 and a turbine generator 4 which are stored in a building 1 built on a concrete base 2, in the center section thereof, is supported by a plurality of support columns 9. Further, on the above-mentioned floor 8, there are integrally provided an upper cover 11 for covering a moisture separator 10 and an operation floor 8a' formed flush wit a floor 8' having a height equal to that of the cover 11. In the above-mentioned arrangement, the floor 8 is laid lower than support sections 3a, 4a projecting from the side parts of the turbine 3 and the turbine generator 4, and the turbine 3 and the generator 4 are mounted on the above- mentioned floor 8 by means of a mounting bed 5 and springs which receive the support sections 3a, 4a.
