    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical method for treating wastewater containing fluorine which can meet severe wastewater standards by a simple process.
      SOLUTION: In order to decrease a fluorine concentration in wastewater, a mixture of calcium hydroxide and calcium phosphate is prepared by adding a phosphoric acid raw material into calcium hydroxide slurry. The mixture is used to react with fluorine, to adsorb it, and to remove it at a low running cost. In addition, gas containing carbon dioxide is introduced into the wastewater to generate calcium carbonate to adsorb fluorine so that the concentration of fluorine is decreased.

    • PURPOSE:To continuously analyze sample solution with high accuracy by providing an alkali and alkaline earth removing means wherein a cation exchange resin film tube is placed inside a hollow housing member on an upper stream of a separation column in an analysis system. CONSTITUTION:Sample solution 1 is made flow in a direction of an arrow A inside a cation exchange resin film tube 2 while acid solution as reproduction solution 3 is made flow outside the tube 2 inside a housing member 4 from a direction indicated by an arrow B1 to a direction indicated by an arrow B2, whereby alkaline metal ions and alkaline earth metal ions in the solution 1 react with the tube 2 and replaced with hydrogen ions, and further by permit ting acid solution outside the tube 2, the tube 2 is reproduced. Thus alkaline metal ions and alkaline earth metal ions can be continuously removed from the solution 1. Therefore, highly accurate and rapid detection and analysis is possible in a background where anions are low in the solution 1 containing highly concentrated alkaline metal ions and alkaline earth metal ions.
