    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a deodorizing medium to exhibit its lively activity even during wintertime by arranging a microbial deodorizing tank to which heat generated at a garbage treating tank at the time of treating garbage is supplied, adjacent to the garbage treating tank with a loading aperture. SOLUTION: A microbial deodorizing tank 5 is disposed side by side with a garbage treating tank 1 equipped with a garbage loading aperture 13 on the top in such a manner that the wall faces of both tanks 1, 5 come into contact with each other. Heat generated in the garbage treating tank 1 at the time of treating garbage is conducted to the interior of the microbial deodorizing tank 5 through the wall faces. In addition, in the microbiale deodorizing tank 5, partitioning shelves 63 equipped with a ventilating hole 61 which allows the vertical passage of an air by a means such as a mesh-type shelf net or a frame, are installed, and a deodorizing medium is placed on these partitioning shelves 63. The deodorizing medium is packed in a corrosion-inhibitive net-like bag made of a material such as polypropylene and is kept in a wet state required for deodorizing by a water sprinkler 59. Thus it is possible to expect a lively activity of the deodorizing medium even during wintertime.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a garbage treatment device which is capable of enhancing the hermeticity of the device without requiring ventilation of a fermentation treating means and preventing leakage of dust, smells, etc., outside by converting the carbon dioxide generated in the device to oxygen by a gas converting means and reutilizing the oxygen for fermentation of the garbage. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnet type opening/closing device 9 opens to drop the garbage into a treating vessel 1 when a charging cap 1 is closed. A fermenting material 13 having moisture controllability, such as sawdust contg. microorganisms, etc., including aerobic bacteria, etc., is held put in the treating vessel 11. A large amt. of blue- green algae as living things to substitute the carbon dioxide for oxygen by photosynthesis are incorporated into the microorganisms included in the fermenting material 13. The fermenting material 13 is intermittently agitated by an agitation control means 15. The fermenting material 13 is intermittently irradiated with light by a photoirradiation means 21 controlled by a photoirradiation quantity control means 19. The treating vessel 11 is provided with a discharge pipe 23 in the gaseous phase section in the upper part thereof so that the gases in the treating vessel 11 are sucked by an exhaust fan 25 and are returned through a condensing means 27 into the treating vessel 11.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment device which enables stable succession and growth of an aerobic bacterium phase even under such conditions that a large quantity of heat of reaction is generated due to garbage decomposition by aerobic bacteria and thereby rapid rise in temperature of the contents of a treatment vessel is liable to occur. SOLUTION: This device for garbage decomposition treatment is provided with: a treatment vessel 2 having contents 1 containing garbage and aerobic bacteria for decomposing the garbage; a temperature detection means 3 which is fitted to the treatment vessel 2 and used for detecting the temperature of the contents 1; and an enclosure 5 which is placed outside the treatment vessel 2 and used for forming an air stream layer 4a between the treatment vessel 2 and the enclosure 5; wherein the temperature of the contents 1 of the treatment vessel 2 is adjusted by cooling air 20e flowing through the air stream layer 4a on the basis of the results of detection by the temperature detection means 3. Thus, the temperature of the contents 1 is slowly changed and any rapid change in temperature and any rise in temperature to a high temperature of the contents 1 of the treatment vessel 2, can be prevented from being caused.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment apparatus which utilizes bio- deodorization using a carrier in which microorganisms live and has a long life and a good deodorization capacity by supplying water properly to the carrier. SOLUTION: A cultivation base material 3 containing aerobic bacteria is put in a garbage treatment tank 1, and air is sucked from an air supply port 2 and discharged into a deodorization tank 4. A carrier 5 in which deodorizing microorganisms live is packed in the tank 4, and air discharged from the treatment tank 1 is deodorized by passing through the carrier 5. Proper water supply is necessary for the microorganisms in the carrier 5 to decompose odor components, and a water spray mechanism 6 is installed in the upper part of the tank 4 to supply water to the carrier 5. Water stored in a water tank 8 in the lower part of the tank 4 is evaporated to be contained in air from the treatment tank 1, and water is supplied to the carrier 5 by the air. The water is supplied to the water spray mechanism 6 and a water supply part 7 through a water supply adjustment mechanism 9 which changes over/adjusts water supply.
