    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine in which a type of detergent may be accurately detected so as to save water and reduce washing time by performing an operation suitable to the type of a detergent to be used.SOLUTION: A washing machine comprises: an outer housing corresponding to an outer covering; a water tub provided inside the outer housing; a water supply duct through which water is supplied from a water source to the water tub; and a detergent case 20 connected to the water supply duct and storing a washing detergent, and the washing detergent stored in the detergent case 20 is supplied to the water tub together with the water supplied from the water supply duct. The detergent case 20 includes a liquid detergent storing part 23 for storing a liquid detergent; and detecting means for detecting whether or not the liquid detergent storing part 23 stores a liquid detergent. When the detecting means detects that a liquid detergent is stored, an operation intensity employed in a rinsing step is set to be lower than in the case where the storage of a liquid detergent is not detected.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat device which can prevent growth of mold at a bidet nozzle 51 without using a silver electrode of a large volume. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the toilet seat device, while the bidet nozzle 51 is moved to a retreated location, washing water having antibacterial activity is spouted from a nozzle washing port 60 to a bidet washing port 52 of the bidet nozzle 51, and therefore growth of mold at the bidet nozzle 51 can be prevented without using the silver electrode of the large volume. Further a sterilizing agent is stored in a warm water tank which is the same as a warm water heater, and therefore the sterilizing agent makes contact with washing water in a warm state, which leads to an increased solubility of sterilizing ingredients to the washing water. Accordingly the washing water containing the sterilizing ingredients with high concentration is spouted from the nozzle washing port 60 to the bidet washing port 52, which leads to improved effect of prevention of growth of mold at the bidet washing port 52.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove dust attached to clothes without a trouble such as periodically cleaning a filter and to solve problems that the removed dust is inhaled by a user or stuck to the clothes of the user.
      SOLUTION: This washing/drying machine is provided with a circulating device 31 circulating air in a washing tub 11 through a duct 30, and a water injection device 35 injecting water into the duct 30 from the direction inverse to the air flow passing therethrough, performs a dust removal operation removing the dust carried by the circulation air thereby while rotating the washing tub 11 and finishes it independent from a dry detecting means. The rotation of the washing tub 11 thus removes the dust from the clothes and, when the removed dust is carried by the circulation air to pass through the duct 30, the dust is fallen and removed by the water injected from the inverse direction. The dust removal operation is finished independent from the dry detecting means so as to, even if the clothes are put therein without any moisture, prevent the dust removal operation from being immediately finished and perform sufficient dust removal operation.
