    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component suction nozzle for securing component suction force without dashing off adjacent components by interference when mounting components. The size of a suction hole 7 open on the component suction surface 6 is made relatively smaller than that of the component suction surface 6, the leakage of negative pressure from the suction hole 7 is avoided even if a suction position deviates, and a gap negative pressure effect is utilized positively. In this case, the ratio (opening ratio) of the opening area of the suction hole 7 to the area of the component suction surface 6 is set to 0.3 or smaller, preferably 0.2 or smaller. And the ratio of the length of the opening of the suction hole 7 to that of the component suction surface 6 in an arbitrary direction on the component suction surface 6 is set to 0.5 or smaller.
