    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swaging apparatus and a swaging method by which the production efficiency of a rotor can be improved by reducing a time needed to a preparing step. SOLUTION: The swaging apparatus 1 is provided with; rolls 4 for supporting and rotating the rotor 3 provided with a plurality of slits 3c and a rotor bar 3d inserted in each slit 3c; a roller 17 for detecting the slit 3c of the rotor 3, a sensor 18 for detecting the displacement of the roller 17; a punch 10 for fixing the rotor bar 3d to the slit 3c by swaging the rotor bar 3d of the rotor 3. The detected signal of the sensor 18 is sent to a slot detecting part 26d to detect the slot 3c. The movement of the punch 10, is controlled with a punch projecting control part 26n so as to swage the rotor bar 3d in the slot 3c detected with the slot detecting part 26d. In the electric wire processing portion 6, the wire is examined by a core extrusion detector after a socket contact is mounted and clad, it is decided defective when the extrusion is detected, the electric wire 1 of the same mark number is produced again, and when the electric wire is free from the extrusion, a thermal shrinkable tube is mounted and shrinked. Then the electric wire 1 is fed to an electric wire sorting portion by the electric wire supply device 3 and a belt conveyor 9, so that the wires are bound to complete the assembling.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing device and a polishing method by which an abrasive can be accurately jetted to a large-sized circular or arcuate component such as a steam turbine, and also, a space therefor can be reduced.
      SOLUTION: The polishing device is provided with an articulated robot 61, which positions a polishing head 14 to the X direction, the Y direction, and the Z direction of three-dimensional coordinates, a rotary table 17, which is rotatably provided on the base face corresponding to an operating range of the polishing head positioned by the robot and in which a component to be polished is held at a prescribed place, and an abrasive recovering and supplying means for supplying the abrasive, which is jetted out from the polishing head, to the polishing head after recovering it. The polishing head is provided with a jet part composed of a belt, which is hung by being held with a pulley so that a jet opening part exists at a part of the periphery of an impeller for imparting rotational energy to the abrasive and to which the abrasive is pressed by the rotation of the impeller, and has an oscillating mechanism capable of setting the jet part in the oscillating and jetting directions to a horizontal shaft.
