    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator traffic demand predicting system capable of correctly predicting a traffic demand in a building.SOLUTION: An elevator traffic demand predicting system according to one embodiment comprises an acquisition part, a calculation part, a feature amount database, a prediction part and a selection part. The acquisition part acquires an elevator control result containing getting-on and getting-off loads different for moving directions and floors. On the basis of said elevator control results, the calculation part calculates the feature quantities of traffic demands containing category feature quantities indicating the categories of traffic demands. A feature quantity database records the feature quantity of said calculated traffic demand in a feature quantity database in relation to attribute information and time information. The prediction part contains a plurality of experts for creating a prediction value by predicting the category of the traffic demand with reference to different data contained in said feature quantity database, and adopts one of said prediction values as a prediction result. The selection part selects a control method according to said prediction result from a plurality of control methods prepared in advance.
