    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washer-drier by which power consumption during drying can be reduced.
      SOLUTION: A circulating air blowing path 21 is provided for drying the laundry housed in a drum 13 by supplying the drum 13 with warm air which is generated by a blower 25 and a heater 26. The circulating air blowing path 21 is provided with an air intake 27 which is formed on the side of a suction opening of the blower 25. A water bath 5 is formed with an air outlet 28 which is opened and closed by an open/close valve 29. With respect to a drying process, drying operations by warm air by which the laundry is dried by warm air through the circulating air blowing path 21 by closing the air outlet 28 and driving the air blower 25 and the heater 26 and drying operations at room temperature by which the outside air is taken from the air intake 27, is caused to pass through the drum 13 and is put outside of the water bath 5 from the outlet 28 by opening the air outlet 28 and driving the air blower 25 can be performed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to judge cloth material at an initial drying process, which enables controlling of the drying operation according to the cloth material. SOLUTION: When a start switch is operated, first, a motor and a heater are energized, and then, a reaching time t1, which represents a period of time that the motor reaches a specified rotating speed, is measured (S2). After that, the number of times that the clothes to be dried in a drum contact with an electrode is measured in two minutes (S3) for deciding a rank of a cloth amount based on the number of contacting times (S4). Next, an idling time t2, which represents an idling time of the motor from the time the motor is de-energized until the motor is stopped, is measured (S6). A cloth material is judged (S8) based on the number of contacting times with the electrode, the reaching time t1 and the idling time t2, and a drying operation is performed (S9) corresponding to the cloth amount and the cloth material.

    • PURPOSE:To adapt a detergent amount for each user's detergent by detecting a laundry volume in a tub, calculating a detergent amount necessary for washing to a measuring cup unit after entering water volume data corresponding to the amount and, then, indicating the calculated amount. CONSTITUTION:A washing machine operation panel 15 is provided with a rinse setting key 20, a spin setting key 21 and a detergent setting key as data input means, in addition to three operation keys 16 to 18 for setting a current time or a reserved time, a wash setting key 19, a course selector key 22, a start/ temporary stop key 25 respectively. On the other hand, a count and time indicator 28 as a display means is fitted, in addition to a water level indicator 26, an optional rinse indicator 27, a mode indicator 29, a course indicator 30 and a detergent indicator 31. A microcomputer as a control means calculates the measuring cup unit of a detergent amount necessary for washing, on the basis of input data and detected laundry volume in a tub and, then, displays the calculated detergent amount.
