摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array substrate for an X-ray detector capable of easily detecting the defect of conduction between a pixel electrode and an upper electrode. SOLUTION: The array substrate for X-ray detector provided with plural signal lines, storage capacitor lines and scan lines located on an insulated substrate, plural three-terminal non-linear terminals located in the shape of matrix for each pixel while respectively electrically connecting drains to the signal lines and gates to the scan lines, storage capacitor electrode electrically connected to the storage capacitor lines, pixel electrode electrically connected to the sources of the three-terminal non-linear elements and formed on a dielectric film on the storage capacitor electrode, and upper electrode electrically connected to the pixel electrode through a contact hole formed on an insulating film on the pixel electrode. The pixel electrode is divided into plural parts so that the plural storage capacitors composed of the storage capacitor electrodes and the pixel electrodes on both the sides of the dielectric film can exist for each pixel.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a matrix array substrate which does not incure the reduction of the aperture ratios of a planar display device even when a signal line 1 has a redundant wiring structure in an matrix array substrate for the planar display device. SOLUTION: A signal line 1 is constituted by allowing a low resistance conductive layer 13 which is produced simultaneously with a drain electrode 22 and an auxiliary electrode layer 14 which is produced simultaneously with a pixel electrode 3 are conducted with each other through a contact hole 15 penetrating the insulating film existing between these layers. In the signal line 1 of such a redundant wiring structure, a contact hole forming part 11 whose width is wider than that of the other part 12 of the signal line 1 is provided at the intersection part with a scanning line 4.

SOLUTION: A drive waveform Vg0 of a scanning signal applied to a dummy scanning line is only the compensation pulse 14 (c). Further, the drive waveform of the scanning signal applied to the scanning line of the first row or after is provided with a scanning pulse 21 turning the TFT on and the compensation pulse 14 (d, e). Then, the potential waveform of the pixel electrode of the first row m-th column forming the auxiliary capacity with the dummy scanning line through an insulation film becomes the potential waveform Vp1 shown by a solid line (a). On the other hand, the potential waveform of the pixel electrode connected to the scanning line of the second row or after, e.g. the potential waveform of the pixel electrode of (m+1)-th row becomes the potential waveform Vp2 shown by the solid line (b). In such a manner, by applying the signal having the compensation pulse to not only the scanning line but also the dummy scanning line, flickers in a picture are prevented.

A grating-like insulating film 60 consisting of silicon nitride and patterned to have plural apertuers 61 dividing a pixel electrode area into plural parts is formed to cover a signal line 20, a scanning line 30 and a switching element. An orientation film is arranged to cover the whole elements. The insulting film 60 is formed to have plural apertures 61 in one pixel electrode area. Since reggedness is formed on the electrode 40, the movement of granular spacers in a display area can be controlled by the ruggedness.
