SOLUTION: The positive mixture for the sealed alkaline zinc primary battery is formed by molding a granular positive mixture containing at least the nickel hydroxide-based compound which is a positive electrode material and a carbon base conductive material, and ethylene-bis-saturated fatty acid amide is added onto the surface of the granular positive mixture in a ratio of 0.02-2.0 mass percent to the nickel hydroxide base compound.
