摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the heating work of the sealing process of a circular bulb by forming a concave groove near the end part of a glass bulb prior to the thrusting and sealing process of the glass bulb, and bending and forming the glass bulb after the thrusting and sealing process by holding the concave groove. CONSTITUTION:A drawn part 10 is formed at an end part 9 of a glass bulb 7, the inner wall of which is coated with a phosphor film 8, by heat molding. At the same time, a concave groove 11 is formed above the drawn part 10, near the end part 9. Following that, an electrode structure 12 is inserted from the mouth of the end part 9 of the bulb 7 so as to make the edge of a flare part 13 of a stem 14 to thrust the end part 9, and the edge of the part 13 is fused to the end part 9 to make a fused part 19. Next, the glass bulb 7, after being heated by holding the groove 11 by means of the chuck of a bending equipment, is curved by winding it around a drum, and is cooled to be formed into a circular shape. Consequently, since a concave groove formation work is not carried out in the thrusting and sealing process, the heating work of this process can be reduced.

The inner wall of this case is coated with a fluorescent-body film, which is added with 0.05-1wt% of a heat-proof metal oxide which contains not more than 0.0004wt% of sodium.

Then, a curved fluorescent lamp can be manufactured by coating phosphor substance on the film.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain initial lightening flux and active characteristics equivalent to those available from the use of glass containing lead oxide in a high concentration, by limiting below 1,300ppm the sodium concentration in a fluorescent substance applied onto the inner surface of a bulb made of glass containing a small quantity of lead oxide. CONSTITUTION:A bulb is formed of a glass material containing not higher than 12wt% of lead oxide and a fluorescent substance is coated onto the inner surface thereof. When the bulb is formed by heating into a circular shape, the formation is performed at a heating temperature not exceeding 120 deg.C from the softening temperature of the glass. The concentration of sodium contained in the coated fluorescent substance should be kept below 1,300ppm.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the exfoliation of electron-radioactive material by coating an electron-radioactive material composed of an alkaline earth metal carbonate powder of specific fine particle weight ratios on a filament. CONSTITUTION:A carbonate powder is ground well for a long milling time to prepare fine particles of a grain size of less than 6 microns in such a way that the fine particles occupy more than 85% by weight of the whole of powders. A suspension of an electron-radioactive material composed of such well-grained alkaline earth metal carbonate fine particles is coated on filaments and then heat-treated while exhausting waste gas. Then, the filaments so treated are electrically energized to decompose the elctron-radioactive material for activation. The inclusion of nitroce llulose in the alkaline earth metal carbonate powder enables one to adjust the viscosity of the electron-radioactive material suspension.

CONSTITUTION:The end of base pin 3 is closed to form low melting point metallic brazing filler layer 6 on the inner peripheral surface thereof. Thermosetting adhesive 5 is filled in the base body 2a to be coated at the end of a bulb 1, and external lead wires 7 are introduced through the pins 3. The base 2 is then heated to the thermosetting temperature of the adhesive 5 to melt the layer 6 by the heat so as to braze the wires 7. Thus, it can simplify the brazing step of the base used for a fluorescent lamp or the like.
