    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly conduct both insertion and expansion-restoration of a folding pipe into a pipe conduit by forcibly cooling a pipe given a folding work immediately before the inlet of a pipe conduit at its outer surface from the outside while being restrained in the state to be set stationarily in a folded shape. SOLUTION: A pipe 1 passes through a deformation working zone A to a restraint cooling zone B during movement from a drum 2 toward a pipe conduit inlet a1. While being passed through the deformation working zone A, the pipe 1 is gradually deformation worked from a flat pipe shape to a U-shaped folded shape, and its effective outer diameter is reduced to be a size capable of being inserted in a pipe conduit (a). During the period of passing through the restraint cooling zone B, a U-shaped folded pipe is subjected to a forcible cooling operation in a configurationally restrained shape. A forcible cooling device 9 is installed over the substantially entire length of the restraint cooling zone B, and a cooling spouting mold 9a and cold air blowing mold 9b are applied so that the pipe is set stationarily by forcible cooling in a configurationally restrained shape as being folded into a U-shaped form.

    • PURPOSE:To shorten the construction period by executing a plurality of works at the same time, when a double pipe consisting of an inner pipe and an outer pipe is propelled. CONSTITUTION:An excavating machine 11 for excavating a bank is arranged at the head, and an original pushing device 13 for starting shaft is installed. In succession with the excavating machine 11, a top pushing device 12 is arranged, and a double pipe A consisting of an inner pipe 2 for the flow of the gas substance inside and an outer pipe 2 keeping a prescribed gap from the inner pipe 1 is succeeded with the device 13. The outer pipe 2 of the double pipe A which is propelled already is connected with the wall surface in the starting shaft, and only the excavating machine 11 is propelled by operating the top pushing device 12. In parallel to this propulsion, the inner pipe 1 of a new double pipe A is welded with the inner pipe 1 of the double pipe A which is already propelled. After the propulsion of the excavating machine 11 by the top pushing device 12 and the connection with the inner pipe 1 complete, the connection between the outer pipe 2 of the double pipe A which is already propelled and the wall surface is released, and a thrust is applied to the new double pipe A by operating the original pushing device 13, and the top pushing device 12 is contracted at the same time.

    • PURPOSE:To correctly insert a main pipe into a sheath pipe by small thrust even in the case when the sheath pipe is diagonally buried by inserting the main pipe into the sheath pipe by way-of floating it by air bags or a specific gravity difference of liquid. CONSTITUTION:After a sheath pipe 30 is propelled between a starting vertical shaft 10 and an arriving vertical shaft 20, a water stop cap 51 with a plumbing pipe 54 installed on it is put on an opening on the side of the arriving vertical shaft 20 of the sheath pipe 30, and a water stop packing 52 which opens its opening is also installed on an opening on the side of the starting vertical shaft 10. Thereafter, the inside of the sheath pipe 30 is filled with water by supplying water to the inside of the sheath pipe 30 from the pumbing pipe 54, and the inside of a main pipe 40 is properly expanded by arranging air bags 53 in it and delivering air into it. Thereafter, when the main pipe 40 is drawn into the sheath pipe 30 by a winch wire 55, water enters the inside of the main pipe 40, weight of the main pipe 40 and buoyancy of the air bags 53 are set off, and it is possible to insert the main pipe 40 into the sheath pipe 30 without the main pipe 40 making contact with the inwall of the sheath pipe 30. Additionally, liquid specific gravity of which is larger than that of water is supplied to the inside of the sheath pipe 30 by filling the inside of the main pipe 40 with water.
