By a stability threshold computation processing means S40, the result of the previous processing means S30 is set to be an initial result and a voltage stable-threshold is found, and by a stability monitoring processing means S50, the results of the previous processing means S30, S40 are used, and the voltage stability of the future power system 1 is discriminated, and when it is discriminated that the voltage is unstable, then by a control quantity computation processing means S60, the results of the previous processing means S30 and S50 are used, and a controlled equipment and control quantity for stabilizing future system voltage are found, and by a control quantity transmitting processing means S70, the control quantity is transmitted to the controlled equipment and is controlled. Finally, from an output processing means S80, the output of the various results of the previous processing means S20-S60 is directed to an MMI device 5.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setting selector for a protective relay which can easily select and manage the setting regardless of the form of the relay constituting a protective relay. SOLUTION: For the fault within the protection block of a protective relay device and outside the adjacent protection block, this setting selector computes the quantity of electricity at fault viewed from a protective relay device with a quantity-of-electricity-at-fault computing means 15, and based on the quantity of electricity at fault computed with the quantity-of-electricity-at-fault computing means 15, this decides the setting target values of a plurality of relays constituting the protective relay with a set value deciding means 16. Then, an optimum tap abstracting means 17 analyses the conditions of restricting the setting range of a single column stored in a relay form vs. setting range data base 7 and expressed by the text based on the grammatical construction rules, and abstracts the setting tap value which satisfies the duty of each relay so that it may fulfill the setting target value.
