    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive device for preventing bird injury by precisely driving a bird away for a long time, hardly allowing the bird to become accustomed thereto.
      SOLUTION: The bird injury-preventing device is constituted by installing a hitting device 14 and an illuminant 18 in an elevator 2 movable along a guide rail 1 installed in a transmission line tower T in the upper and lower direction. The hitting device 14 hits the guide rail 1 by engaging a hitting pin 16b with a cam 16a interlocked with a driven shaft 13 of the elevator 2 through a transmission mechanism 15. The illuminant 18 repeats blinks. The driving power required for the driving of the elevator 2 and the light-emitting action of the illuminant 18 is generated by a solar panel 19. The device can effectively threaten the bird by sound, vibration and light because the hitting device 14 hits and the illuminator 18 blinks while moving the elevator 2.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact temperature measuring apparatus which can measure surely and accurately a temperature without being affected by environment or the like of a measuring part position. SOLUTION: This temperature measuring apparatus consists of a measuring unit 1, a display unit 2 and an optical fiber 3 connecting them. A measuring device 4 of the measuring unit 1 is constituted by fixing a blackbody tape 9 in face to face with the photo detecting surface of an infrared sensor 8, which receives infrared rays radiated from the blackbody tape 9 in contact with an object to be measured and outputs the intensity of infrared rays. A temperature adjusting device 5 outputs a temperature corresponding to the intensity of infrared rays as an electric signal, which is sent to the display unit 2 through an optical transmitter 6, the optical fiber 3 and an optical receiver 10. The display panel 12 displays numerically the detected temperature. Since the blackbody tape 9 is integrally formed with the measuring device 4, measurement is not affected by environment or the like around the object to be measured.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device as capable of detecting reverse winding motion simultaneously with the occurrence, as an undesirable phenomenon called as reverse winding where a rope is turned over at the very spot in its process, in the case where the rope bites into a narrow gap with the end face into a sticking state, thereby forming a fixed point, in the rewinding process of a drum at a time when there is no load of this rope, in case of this winch which reciprocally rotates the drum, thereby making the load at the rope end go up and down. SOLUTION: A rope 3 shifts in contact with each top face of a drum 2 and a pulley 4 so far as it normally operates. If any reverse winding takes place, it inclines and goes down, coming into contact with a drum underside and a pulley top face. At this time, if a detecting bar 6, capable of engaging the rope going down is projected from a stand 7 in advance, a motor is automatically stoppable by the action of a limit switch 8, owing to the engagement.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple carrying device suitable for a use to move a traveling device along a rail, photograph a portion to be inspected by mounting a video camera, etc., on the traveling device and transmit the images to a remote monitoring place. SOLUTION: This carrying device 1 has the rail 2 and the traveling device 3 traveling by being engaged to the rail 2. The rail 2 has a cylindrical body 2a and a projecting line 2b. The traveling device 3 has a frame 4 mounted with a carrying object A such as the video camera thereon. Two driving rollers 5 and a guide roller 6 are supported on the frame 4. The driving rollers 5 are arranged on the frame 4 to hold the projecting line 2b of the rail 2 and approach a peripheral edge to both the sides, and the guide roller 6 is arranged on the frame 4 so as to be in contact with the rail 2 on an opposite side surface of the projecting line 2b. The guide roller 6 energizes the rail 2 so as to be in pressure contact with the rail 2. A weight balance is set so that the center of gravity of the whole of the traveling device 3 may be on a supporting side of the guide roller 6. During traveling of the traveling device 3, load concentrates on the driving roller 5, large friction is generated between the driving roller 5 and the rail 2, and slip is not generated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationalize the construction of a wire drawing metal sheave which is publicly known and has many tops built in the outer periphery of a half-moon- shaped frame suspended from steel towers with a large total weight and nonsmooth action because each individual top is equipped with an electric wire receiving member and a roller for transfer. SOLUTION: The outer periphery of a half-moon-shaped frame is surrounded by a roller chain available on the market. Its outer periphery is further surrounded by a resin belt 4. The belt 4 has cuts at equal intervals at both the sides to permit passage around a curved portion. The roller chain is able to turn simultaneously around the resin belt and the outer periphery of frame, its circling speed decreases to one-half of that of the resin belt, thereby greatly contributing to the smoothening of the operation.
