    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for industrially producing homogeneous films with good reproducibility inexpensively in a method for forming the thin films of a multi component oxide by a hydrothermal synthesis method on a substrate. SOLUTION: This hydrothermal synthesis method forms the thin film of the multi component oxide on the substrate by holding the substrate in an aq. soln. dissolved with plural metal salts under pressurization conditions and heating the substrate while applying vibration of >=1Hz perpendicularly on the substrate. The thin film is hydrothermally synthesized in one stage by using the multi component oxide forming raw material consisting of the remaining combination exclusive the compd. reacting with the metal elements on the surface of the substrate. The thin film is hydrothermally synthesized in two stages by using all of the raw material compds. after the crystal nuclei of the multi component oxide are precipitated in the first stage. As a result, the multi component oxide thin film exhibiting a piezoelectric characteristic is produced to a large area at a uniform thickness even if the substrate is not subjected to a polarization treatment. Since a high-temp. treatment, such as baking, is not required, the use of an org. material for the substrate is possible as well. This process is, therefore, applicable to the production of piezoelectric elements, such as piezoelectric monomorph and piezoelectric bimorph and various composite materials, such as laminated actuators and laminate capacitors.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the title roll having a uniform resistance and less moisture dependence, without contaminating the surface of a photosensitive drum by constituting a resistance regulating layer of an epichlorohydrin-ethylene oxide copolymer rubber as a main component. CONSTITUTION:The resistance regulating layer 112 comprising the copolymer rubber of the epichlorohydrin-ethylene oxide as the main component is formed on the outer circumference of an electroconductive elastic layer 111 formed around the outer circumference of a shaft body 110. Thus, the electric resistance of the roll is wholly uniformized and the thickness of the resistance regulating layer 112 can be optionally controlled so as to be durable to a practical use. And as the moisture dependence of the roll is small, the electric resistance of the resistance regulating layer 112 does not deviate from a suitable range by the change of surroundings. Moreover, as a plasticizer solution, etc., is not necessary to be used to regulate the electric resistance, the surface of the photosensitive drum, etc., is not contaminated with the plasticizer, etc.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the semiconductive compsn. capable of forming the semiconductive roll which has the excellent environmental dependency resistance and uniformity of electric resistance and can deal with high-speed models by using a hydrophobic synthetic resin as a matrix component and dispersing and incorporating a conductive material consisting essentially of metallic double oxides therein. CONSTITUTION:The hydrophobic synthetic resin is used as the matrix component and the metallic double oxides are dispersed and incorporated as the conductive material into this matrix component. A change in the electric resistance by a fluctuation in environmental conditions is suppressed in this way. The environmental dependency resistance to the electric resistance is improved if the semiconductive roll having, for example, an arbor 20, a conductive elastic material layer 21, 1st and 2nd resistance adjustment layers 22, 23, and a protective layer 24 is produced by using such semiconductive compsn.; for example, the current necessary for electrification can be passed at a low voltage even at and under a low temp. and low humidity; in addition, the generation of an electrification defect is obviated even if there is a defective part on the drum. The application to the high-speed models is thus possible.

The current quantity flowing in the roll surface direction (circumferential direction) decreases relatively as compared with the current quantity in the thickness direction of the semiconductive layers (layer A, layer B) if the relations are set in such a manner Then, the concentration of the currents near the part where the semiconductive roll 1 and the body to be electrostatically charged, such as photosensitive body, come into contact is averted and the generation of a discharge phenomenon is prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To remove residual toner on the surface of a photosensitive drum and electrostatically charge it at the same time and to miniaturize an entire device by forming a conductive part at the leading edge part of a blade member so that the blade member may be conductive. CONSTITUTION:The conductive blade 18 is constituted of the blade member 16 made of urethane resin and a metallic supporting member 17, having an L-shaped cross section, which is attached to one end side of the member 16. By applying a conductive agent to all the surface of the member 16 and a coupling part between the member 17 and the member 16, power is supplied from the member 17 side to the leading edge part 16a of the member 16. The blade 18 is attached in a state where the edge part 16a press-contacts with the peripheral surface of the photosensitive drum 2. Then, voltage is impressed on the member 17 of the blade 18 and the shaft center of the drum 2 through a conductor 21. The residual toner on the outer peripheral surface of the drum 2 is removed by the blade 18 and the outer peripheral surface of the drum 2 is electrostatically charged at the same time.

Copper powder, aluminum powder or carbon black, etc., is used as the particle 16, and the layer 20 is formed by applying resin liquid containing matrix resin 15 such as N-methoxymethylation nylon and the particles 16 on the layer 19 and drying it while applying electric field between the shaft 17 and an adjacent electrode.
