摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve an error in thread picking incident to the flutter of objects, even when the power of lifting is strong, for example because of the needle pulling resistance, by working the control that keeps a position of a hinged presser foot at the sewing time while it is at the bottom dead center. SOLUTION: It is a reciprocating type sewing machine that reciprocates a hinged presser foot 40 in a vertically moving and predetermined stroke with a hinged presser foot drive mechanism 20 which uses a motor 30 as a drive. On sewing, during a hinged presser foot 40 is at the bottom dead center, it has a servomechanism which does a drive control of the motor 30 of the hinged pressure foot drive mechanism 20 to keep the hinged presser foot 40 at that position. A first lever 2 of the hinged presser foot drive mechanism 20, the edge of which is supported with an axis rotatively against the side board of a machine arm 10. The first lever 22 repeats the reciprocating rotation around the center of the axis 23 linking the driving of the pulse motor 30 that fixed to the machine arm 10.

SOLUTION: This sewing machine is composed of a needle bar 8 provided with a sewing needle 26 on a lower end and the looper supported by a supporting body provided on the lower part of a throat plate 30. In this case, the needle bar 8 is supported freely rotatably around the axial center, the throat plate 30 is attached to the supporting body for supporting the looper and the supporting body is constituted freely rotatably around the axial center of the needle bar 8. The rotating direction of the needle bar 8 and the supporting body is controlled corresponding to a stitch direction and the sewing needle 26 and the looper are turned to prescribed correspondence relation at least at the time of capturing the thread by the looper.

The thread take-up lever device is also equipped with a second driving lever 74 which is rotatably combined with the first driving lever, engaging member 80 which is rotatably attached to the second driving lever, recessed parts 56 which are formed on respective thread take-up levers 50, and in one of which the engaging member 80 can be tightly fitted under a surface contact condition, and an energizing member to impart a pressing force to the second driving lever 74 in the direction to fit the engaging member 80 in the depressed part 56 of the thread take-up lever 50.

摘要： PURPOSE: To eliminate a need for a clutch mechanism every sewing machine head, and thereby make the structure simplified by letting a needle bar cam, a cloth hold cam and a drive lever in each sewing machine head be so set that a mutual interlocking relation is discontinued when an evacuation mechanism is so operated that a needle bar and a cloth holder are thereby evacuated. CONSTITUTION: When a needle bar 22, a nipple 27 and a cloth holder are evacuated by an evacuation mechanism 90, a needle drive lever 70 and the roller 72 of a nipple drive lever come out of respective cam grooves through a needle bar cam 14, and the cut-out section 14a of a nipple cam. The roller of a cloth holder drive lever comes out of the outer circumference of a cloth hold cam. Therefore, an interlocking relation between a sewing machine main spindle 12 and each drive lever 70, is thereby discontinued at the time of the evacuation. Accordingly, at the time of the evacuation, if evacuation operations are performed at a given sewing machine head in the multi-head type sewing machine, even if the main spindle 12 is restarted, the needle bar 22, the nipple 27 and the cloth holder of this sewing machine head will never be driven up and down, thereby they are entirely suspended.
