    • PURPOSE: To improve the lubricating performance such as seizure resisting performance of a bearing, by communicating a radial bearing and an oil capturing recess formed in the surface of one axial end wall of a swash plate chamber for capturing lubricating oil via lubricating oil passage, and shaping the radial bearing in a special configuration.
      CONSTITUTION: Lubricating oil flowing down over the surface of one end wall 10a of a swash plate chamber 10 is captured efficiently in an oil capturing recess 30 and the oil is then supplied from the recess 30 to a radial bearing, i.e., a plain bearing 6 via a lubricating oil passage 31, so that the amount of lubricating oil supplied to the bearing is increased as compared with that in the conventional arrangements. The lubricating oil supplied to the plain bearing 6 is distributed to the entire inner wall surface of the bearing 6 where it is held is contact with a drive shaft 4 via oil guide grooves 40, 40a, 40b formed in the bearing 6. Further, the lubricatng oil in the oil guide grooves 40, 40a, 40b is distributed in the circumferential direction with rotation of the drive shaft 4, and oil film is formed between the drive shaft 4 and the inner wall surface of the plain bearing 6. Therefore, it is enabled to improve the lubricating performance such as seizure resisting performance of the bearing.
