      SOLUTION: In this internal defect detecting method for the structure wherein a material generating heat in curing is filled in a hollow shell to be cured, a surface temperature distribution in the structure is measured after a prescribed lapse time counted from the start of the filling, and a defect is detected based on the distribution.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure between a steel wall and an RC plate capable of securely and rapidly connecting the steel wall to the RC plate constructed in the steel wall as a top plate or a bottom plate when the steel wall formed of assembled steel piles are used as a soil retaining wall in temporary installation and used as a part of the body structure of an underground structure when the underground structure such as a foundation structure or an excavated tunnel is constructed.
      SOLUTION: The steel wall 1 is vertically constructed in an underground through a specified depth. An RC floor plate 2 is horizontally constructed on the inside of the steel wall 1. The steel wall 1 is constructed by driving the plurality of assembled steel piles 3 vertically parallel with each other in the radial direction of the assembled steel piles 3. The assembled steel piles 3 are formed of hat-shaped soil retaining steel materials 4 and wide-flange shape steels 5 having asymmetrical joints 4a and 4b at both ends. The end part of the main reinforcement 2a of the RC floor plate 2 is fixed to a space part 7 formed between the wide-flange shape-steels 5 and 5 with a concrete 2d.
