    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective and appropriate radiation shielding concrete which has a better shielding performance to radiation than a normal concrete and can reduce required thickness, while it can be manufactured and used in construction inexpensively.SOLUTION: Glass cullet prepared by crushing and adjusting waste cathode-ray-tubes is mixed in concrete as a glass material containing lead component. The glass cullet is prepared as coarse cullet and fine cullet, and the coarse cullet and the fine cullet are respectively mixed as a part of coarse aggregate and as a part of fine aggregate. The glass cullet is also prepared as a powder cullet and mixed as an admixture. A total mixing amount of all the glass cullet in the entire concrete is suitably set to a range of 50-65%.
