SOLUTION: A protection circuit 124 is arranged at the converter to which the solar panel is connected. When DC power is inputted so that an input terminal 126A is negative and an input terminal 126B is positive in terms of poles, a photocoupler 132 is turned on and a relay coil 134A is excited, whereby the protection circuit 124 performs polarity conversion by using a diode bridge 130. When the DC power is inputted at the proper polarity of the protection circuit 124, the photocoupler is turned on.
