    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to suppress current flowing from a power collection device to a power conversion device while performing MPPT operation of a booster circuit in the power collection device.SOLUTION: A power conversion system comprises: a power collection device 2 for collecting output of a plurality of DC power supplies 1 to output the collected output; and a power conversion device 3 for converting DC power output from the power collection device 2 to AC power to output the AC power. The power conversion device 3 includes a switch 31 on the input side. The power collection device 2 includes booster circuits 21, each of which is connected to output of the DC power supply 1 and each of whose output sides is connected to output of the power collection device 2 through a capacitor C and a switch SW2, where a resistor R is connected in parallel with at least one of switches SW2. The power collection device 2 makes electric charge in the capacitor C flow to the power conversion device 3 through the resistor R when the switch SW2 is cut off and the switch 31 is closed. The switch SW2 is in a conduction state when the power conversion device 3 is during conversion operation; and the booster circuit 21 performs boosting operation when the switch SW2 is in the conduction state.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely protect a converter from miswirings, when connecting a solar panel to the converter. SOLUTION: A protection circuit 124 is arranged at the converter to which the solar panel is connected. When DC power is inputted so that an input terminal 126A is negative and an input terminal 126B is positive in terms of poles, a photocoupler 132 is turned on and a relay coil 134A is excited, whereby the protection circuit 124 performs polarity conversion by using a diode bridge 130. When the DC power is inputted at the proper polarity of the protection circuit 124, the photocoupler is turned on.
