    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient photoelectric conversion device by designing the specifications of a collector electrode to improve the efficiency.
      SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion device includes a first substrate, a second substrate facing the first substrate, and a first electrode disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and including a first grid electrode. A first ratio W/P of the line width, W, of the first grid electrode to the pitch, P, of the first grid electrode is designed according to the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the photoelectric conversion device. Accordingly, the design specifications for the collector electrode to improve the efficiency are provided, thereby providing the highly efficient photoelectric conversion device.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel having a discharge cell structure generating sustaining discharge between a pair of display electrodes as an opposing discharge, in order to overcome the disadvantage of discharge property accompanied by the reduction of the size of the discharge cell.
      SOLUTION: The plasma display panel comprises a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other; barrier ribs demarcating a plurality of discharge cells arranged in a space between the first electrode and the second electrode; address electrodes arrayed on the second substrate in one direction; first electrodes and second electrodes formed on the second substrate, separated from the address electrodes, jointed to each other in a direction crossing the address electrodes, corresponding to respective discharge cells; and phosphor layers formed in respective discharge cells. The first electrodes and the second electrodes are formed so as to protrude toward the first substrate in a direction becoming distant form the second substrate and face each other with a space in between.
