    • PURPOSE:To reduce influence on self-enclosing force of a hydraulic turbine guide vane at the time of loss of an electric source and to prevent the hydraulic turbine guide vane from coming not to be closed at the time of loss of the electric source. CONSTITUTION:It is devised to transmit input from the side of a hydraulic turbine guide vane only to an output gear 2 by opening and closing the hydraulic turbine guide vane by way of reciprocally driving a connecting metal fitting 14 by driving of an electric motor by means of connecting the electric motor and the output gear 2 with each other by an electromagnetic clutch 23 at the normal time and by releasing connection of the electric motor and the output gear 2 by the electromagnetic clutch 23 at the time of loss of an electric source by way of interposing the electromagnetic clutch 23 connected as it is magnetized between the electric motor and the output gear 2. Additionally, it is devised to prevent the hydraulic turbine guide vane from coming not to be closed at the time of loss of the electric force by devising the electric motor not to give influence on input from the side of the hydraulic turbine guide vane at the time of loss of the electric source, reducing operating physical force at the time of reverse rotation at the time of loss of the electric source and reducing influence on self-enclosing force of the hydraulic turbine guide vane at the time of using it by way of combining it with a hydraulic turbine furnished with the self-enclosing force of the hydraulic turbine guide vane itself.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a labyrinth seal structure of a vertical-shaft rotating machine capable of improving the sealing performance in operation, and preventing the leakage of the lubricant even when the operation/stop are repeated. SOLUTION: A movable blade mechanism 40 and a lubricant returning mechanism are mounted at a rotating labyrinth side. In the movable blade mechanism, a movable blade part 41 is guided to a female screw part 47 by the energizing force of a spring 51 and upwardly moved while rotated to close the lubricant return channel 42 at a channel opening and closing part 44 in the stop of the rotation, and the movable blade part is guided to the female screw part against the energizing force of the spring by the wind pressure acting on a blade part 43 and downwardly moved while rotating to open the lubricant returning channel at the channel opening and closing part in the rotation. In the lubricant returning mechanism, a ball is radially inwardly moved by the energizing force of the spring to close the lubricant returning channel in the stop of the rotation, and the ball is radially outwardly moved against the energizing force of the spring by the centrifugal force acting on the ball to open the lubricant returning channel in the rotation.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease conformation and the capacity of an electric servo motor and to reliably stop a water turbine during a loss of a power source. SOLUTION: Through drive of an electric servo motor 5, a movement conversion part 6 is reciprocatively moved and through operation of a deflector operation rod 3 and an oscillating link 2 for a deflector, the deflector is opened and closed and simultaneously, a water receiving container 10 coupled to an oscillation link 4a is elevated through a wire rope 8. Since, during normal operation of a power source, the water receiving container 10 is in an empty state, the operation force of the electric servo motor 5 may be reduced. During a loss of the power source, a motor-driven emergency shutdown valve 14 is opened, water 20 in a hydraulic iron pipe 13 flows in the water receiving container 10 through a piping 12 and the water receiving container 10 filled with water 20 is increased in weight and lowered. Thereby, a wire rope 8 is stretched, the movement conversion part 6 is moved in a closing direction, and the electric servo motor 5 and a deflector are closed.
