SOLUTION: Steel sheet piles 5 are driven at a fixed distance so as to surround the building frame 1 of the structure. The top sections of the steel sheet piles 5 and the foundations 2 of the structure are connected and unified by concrete beams 6 horizontally projected from the structure building frame 1. The horizontal resistance force of a ground received by the whole surfaces of the steel sheet piles 5 brought into contact with the ground in the load working direction resists against the horizontal force. The maximum value of a ground reaction degree generated is inhibited by the foundation widening effect of the concrete beams 6, etc., projected from the building frame 1 to vertical force while the side movement of the ground is prevented by constraining the ground by the steel sheet piles 5, effective confining pressure is increased and ground strength is elevated. Vertical resistance force is burdened even by peripheral-surface frictional force among the concrete beams 6 protruded from the building frame 1 and the steel sheet piles 5 driven around the structure and the ground.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front panel and coping installing structure of a steel sheet pile wall excellent in economic efficiency and workability with a simple structure and capable of facilitating construction work even in a narrow space. SOLUTION: A locking member 2 composed of a steel plate is previously welded to an asymmetrical U-shaped steel sheet pile 1 in the shape of connecting both side end parts of the U-shaped opening part before constructing a wall body. While, an angle is also preinstalled as the locking part 4 on a front panel 3 as a decorative panel. The upper end part of the front panel 3 is bent in an inverse L shape, and a concrete injection hole 5 is arranged in the part. Then, after constructing a steel sheet pile wall by driving and connecting the asymmetrical U-shaped steel sheet pile 1, the front panel 3 is dropped in from above so that the locking part 4 at the back of front panel 3 is engaged with the locking member 2 of the asymmetrical U-shaped steel sheet pile 1. Afterwards, concrete is poured into it from the concrete injection hole 5 so that the asymmetrical U-shaped steel sheet pile 1 and the front panel 3 are integrally formed.
