摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the structure of a ventilating passage, permitting the accumulation of heat even upon heating at night by a heat accumulating he after and silent in the switching of the ventilating passage through a damper. CONSTITUTION:The structure of ventilating passages is constituted so that a warm-air passage A and a cold air passage B are connected in parallel to an inlet port ventilating passage while both of the air passages A, B are joined in an outlet port ventilating passage. The warm-air passage A is formed so as to effect heat exchange directly by contacting with a heat accumulating body 1 surrounded by a heat insulating material 3 while the cold air passage B is provided so as to send the heat accumulating body 1 to the outlet port side of cold air without contacting or not being contacted substantially with cold air. The inlet port ventilating passage is provided with a damper 5, distributing air sucked by a ventilating fan 4, while the outlet port ventilating passage is provided with an auxiliary heater 6. During heating at night, which is effected by the auxiliary heater 6, ventilation to the warm-air flow passage A is intercepted by the damper 5 to permit heat accumulation into the heat accumulating body 1. The switching of the damper 5 is effected by exiting a bimetal 7 through the excitation of a static characteristic thermistor 8 without accompanying any impulsive sound.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly raise the temperature of an electrolyte before start of charge/ discharge by separating a positive electrode cell from a negative electrode cell, allowing the passage of protons acting as charge barrier within both cells, installing a communicating pipe communicating a positive electrode circulation path for circulating a positive electrode solution with a negative electrode circulation path for circulating a negative electrode solution, and a switching means for switching a flow path. SOLUTION: A reaction cell 1 is separated with a separator 4 made of an ion exchange membrane, which passes protons and does no pass other ions. One side separated with the separator 4 constitutes a positive electrode cell 1a and the other side constitutes a negative electrode cell 1b, and a positive electrode 5 is contained in the positive electrode cell 1a and a negative electrode 6 is contained in the negative electrode cell 1b. The positive electrode cell 1a and the negative electrode cell 1b are connected to corresponding tanks through two paths of an inlet path and an outlet path, two tanks are connected with a communicating pipe 13, a valve 14 acting as a switching means for switching a flow path is installed in the communicating pipe 13, and by opening the valve 14, both electrolytes are mixed, cause self discharge reaction to raise the temperature of the electrolyte.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a redox flow cell which can return electrolyte solution back to a tank without fail when circulation of the electrolyte solution stops. SOLUTION: The cell is provided with a tank 20 storing electrolyte solution and a cell stack 10 arranged at a position above the level of the electrolyte solution in the tank 20. The cell stack 10 and the tank 20 are connected with each other by an outgoing piping 30 and a return piping 40. The outgoing piping 30 and the return piping 40 are connected with a by-pass tube 70. A by-pass valve 80 is fitted half way in the by-pass tube 70 and a main valve 60 is fitted in the outgoing piping 30 for adjusting supply and stoppage of the electrolyte solution to the cell stack 10. At stop of the electrolyte solution, electrolyte solution inside the cell stack can be returned to the tank 20 by closing the main valve and opening the by-pass valve 80.

An electrolyte 2 is housed in the tank 1 and a plastic plate 3 (an air shut-off member) is put in on the upside thereof. Because the plastic plate 3 floats on the electrolyte 2, the contact area of the electrolyte 2 with air can be sharply decreased, the existence of the plastic plate 3 can be verified visually, and therefore a non-oxidative atmosphere can be confirmed.

Then, means 30 converts the electrode 6 and the electrode 7 into a negative pole and a positive pole, respectively, corresponding to the signal and repeats the charging and discharging operation and thus the first electrolytic solution moves to the cell 2a from the cell 2b through the diaphragm 6. When the solution level detector 43 detects the increase of the amount of the solution stored in the electroytic solution tank 4, the apparatus 45 and the means 50 change the polarity and convert the electrode 6 and the electrode 7 into a positive pole and a negative pole, respectively and charging and discharging are carried out.
