    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively select a track from many tracks using limited operation means and display means. SOLUTION: Dots are arranged and displayed two-dimensionally on a display part 51B as a matrix display 201. The display position of a dot corresponds to a respective track. Dots 210, 211 correspond to first and second tracks respectively, and a dot 212 of an adjacent group corresponds to a 26th track, and further a track number of a dot in selection at present is displayed as a character display 200. The dot in selection at present is displayed with blinking for example. The dot displayed with blinking is moved vertically and horizontally in response to an operation, and when a predetermined determining operation is performed, a track corresponding to the position of the dot displayed with blinking at that time is selected and reproduced.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a recording level of other channel from being affected by one channel by providing a gain adjustment means that adjusts independently a gain of two channels respectively to a stereo recording device. SOLUTION: An L channel system (shown in upper side in figure) and an R channel system (shown in lower side in figure) are configured independently and they are provided respectively with feedback circuits 6L, 6R. An input picked up by a microphone 1L (1R) is amplified by an amplifier 2L (2R) and given to an A/D converter circuit 4L (4R) via an electronic volume 3L (3R), in which the signal is converted into digital data and they are fed to a recording circuit (not shown). Furthermore, a peak detection circuit 5L (5R) detects a peak level within a prescribed time and the level is fed to a feedback circuit 6L (6R). The electronic volume 3L (3R) is variably controlled by an output of the feedback circuit 6L (6R). Thus, a disadvantage such that a voice of an utterance party close to other microphone is hardly heard by a voice or the like of another utterance party close to one microphone is avoided.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate multiplication, to simplify a circuit or a software and to shorten an operation time by executing the calculation of a low-pass filter not by means of a usual filter processing but by means of addition/subtraction. SOLUTION: The output of a peak detecting circuit 4 is inputted to a high- speed limitter circuit A7, the high-speed limitter circuit A7 and a LIN→LOG transforming circuit 5. The output of the LIN→LOG transforming circuit 5 is inputted to a reveres backlash circuit 6 and the output of the reverse back lash circuit 6 is inputted to a low-speed limitter circuit 9 and a normal circuit 10. An automatic and manual change-over switch 13 is changed-over to an AUTO side at the time of an AGC circuit operation and the outputs of the high-speed limitter circuit A7, the low-speed limitter circuit 9 and the normal circuit 10 are added in an adding circuit 11 and inputted to the backlash circuit 12. Thus, the gain of a circuit is automatically controlled in an automatic gain control circuit. In this circuit, the calculation of the low-pass filter is executed by addition/subtraction so that the circuit or the processing software is simplified and processing speed is improved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily cope with generation of periodical peaks and also to secure the satisfactory responsiveness even if an input level is suddenly increased by providing an attenuation value setting control means which increases the 1st attenuation controlled variable by an amount proportional to an excessive level and in response to the generation and detection of the excessive level. SOLUTION: This control circuit includes an over-rate detection part 13 which detects an over-rate 'OV.RATE', a peak level detection part 14 which detects a peak level 'PK.LVL', and a mean value detection circuit 15 which detects the mean value 'LVL'. These parts 13 to 14 also detect the digital audio signals which are processed by a digital attenuator 11. Then the proportion terms proportional to the input of large amplitude are added together in a large amplitude input mode against a fast LPF 21 which generates a controlled variable element in terms of a limiter. Thus the clip is suppressed with no increase of the loop gains. As a result, the proper attenuation control is carried out to the large amplitude input.
