    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus of suppressing corrosion of metallic wires and enhancing reliability.
      SOLUTION: A driving panel 10 has a circuit part, a coating layer 13, and a display part sequentially on a driving substrate 11, and has an adhesion region where the driving panel 10 is stuck to a seal panel 20 across an adhesive layer 30. One side of the driving panel 10 protrudes from the sealing panel 20 to form a terminal region, and a plurality of metallic wires 51 electrically connected to the circuit part are extended to the terminal region. The coating layer 13 in the adhesion region area has an inter-wiring separation region 13A between adjacent metallic wires 51. The inter-wiring separation region 13A is so formed that the end edge thereof lies beyond the adhesion region 10A to reach the terminal region 10B but not to reach the end edge of the terminal region 10B.

      SOLUTION: In an alkaline battery using β-type nickel oxyhydroxide as a positive electrode active material and having a positive electrode mix 12 molded in a shape of a hollow cylinder and a negative electrode mix 14 which makes zinc a main negative electrode active material in the central part of the alkaline battery 100 through a cylindrical type separator 13 with a bottom, a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethglene) is coated as a water repellent agent at a predetermined range of an opening edge of the separator 13, e.g. within 2 to 10 mm from the opening edge. Accordingly, the leakage of the electrolytic solution to the outside caused by creep-up of the electrolytic solution in the separator 13 is suppressed and the resistance to liquid leakage characteristic when a safety valve 17a is cleaved or a closing member 17 is cracked is enhanced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of a separator by a positive electrode active material without using a separator breakage protective film to bring the actual discharging capacity of the nonaqueous electrolyte battery close to the theoretical discharging capacity, in a nonaqueous electrolyte battery comprising a spiral electrode body.
      SOLUTION: This nonaqueous electrolyte battery comprises the spiral electrode body having a negative electrode active material composed of light metal and a positive electrode active material mainly composed of a compound of transition metal through the separator, and winding them several times, between positive and negative electrode terminals, and the necessary amount of nonaqueous electrolyte is injected. A volume of the negative electrode active material is more than that of a positive electrode active material, and a void is formed by 1.7cc-5.0cc to a discharging capacity per 1 Ah of the positive electrode active material. The breakage of separator by the positive electrode active material can be prevented even when the volume of the positive electrode active material is expanded by charging and discharging, whereby the internal short-circuit can be prevented, the actual discharging capacity of the nonaqueous electrolyte battery becomes close to the theoretical discharging capacity, and the high charging capacity can be obtained.
