    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing a deposit on a long material, which improves cleaning quality by removing a deposit such as surface fouling and fine powder on the long material, and then enhancing the cleanliness and drying degree of the long material.
      SOLUTION: The method for removing the deposit by drying the surface of the long material after having removed the deposit on the surface of the long material comprises: a cleaning step of removing the deposit on the surface of the long material with a cleaning material; a water droplet removal step of removing water droplets by absorbing them from the surface of the long material which has been cleaned; and a drying step of drying the surface of the moist long material from which the water droplets have been removed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure separation between shot and a bulk by disposing a perforated chute which permits shot to pass therethrough and does not permit the bulk to pass therehthrough with such an inclination not to drop the bulk in a position right under release of shot, and making the lower end part of the perforated chute face to the upper end part of a perforated trough. SOLUTION: Recovered shot mixed with a bulk carried upward by a bucket conveyer 1 is released from the upper end part to a perforated chute 15, and while sliding, most of shot passes through the holes of the perforated chute 15 to drop in a shot reservoir 5. The bulk and a little shot are supplied into the perforated trough 10 rolled by a normal and reverse rotating motor 8 as an oscillating driving machine, and shot is passed through the holes of the perforated trough 10 by rolling to drop in the shot reservoir 5. The bulk which can not pass through the holes is promoted in sliding of the inclined trough to drop in the bulk receiving chamber 6 from an opening of the perforated trough and be discharged from a bulk discharge pipe 17. Thus, screening between shot and the bulk can be secured so as to prevent staying of bulk.
