摘要： PURPOSE:To greatly improve an antistatic performance, by adding a polyolefin wax together with an antistatic agent in carrying out the antistatic treatment of a high-molecular styrene material with the antistatic agent. CONSTITUTION:An antistatic agent (A) (e.g. an ester derived from a polyethylene glycol and an amine) and a polyolefin wax (B) (e.g. polyethylene wax or polypropylene wax) are added to a styrene polymer (C) (e.g. polystyrene resin or ABS resin) to improve antistatic performance. Pref. 0.05-5pts.wt. component A and 0.1-5pts.wt. component B are added to 100pts.wt. component C. By using component B, the quantity of component A is reduced and the antistatic performance can be exhibited in a short time.

Then a first flow from a preliminary polymerization process having 15-35% polymerization conversion ratio of the styrenic monomer at the outlet of the reactor is blended with a second flow having 5-50 pts.wt./hour styrenic monomer among degassed and recovered styrene monomer after the completion of the whole polymerization and the temperature after blending of the first and the second flows is adjusted to a temperature corresponding to 3-50 hours half life of an organic peroxide initiator. Successively the blended solution is mixed with 0.005-0.1 pt.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. mixed liquid of an organic peroxide having 60-110 deg.C half life temperature for 10 hours and polymerized by a plug flow type reactor until the polymerization conversion ratio of the styrenic monomer reaches 70-90%.
