    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravure printing ink containing silica-coated zinc oxide fine particles of which a photocatalytic activity is reduced, from which the elution of a metal ion is reduced, and which has good dispersion stability; and to provide an excellently safe ultraviolet-blocked printed product for wrapping, having excellent ultraviolet-blocking ability, transparency and weather resistance, and further having an ultraviolet-blocking layer obtained by using the ink.
      SOLUTION: The gravure printing ink contains the silica-coated zinc oxide fine particles having the surfaces coated with silica, and having ≤3 isoelectric point. In another aspect, the gravure printing ink contains the silica-coated zinc oxide having the surface hydrophobized by the surface-treating with a hydrophobicity-imparting agent. The ultraviolet-blocked printed product is printed with the gravure printing ink and has the ultraviolet-blocking layer formed on the surface.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a conjugate fiber having a high adhesive strength and suitable as a thermally fusible fiber for nonwoven fabrics, by comprising the core layer of a thermoplastic resin and the sheath layer of a thermoplastic resin having a melting point lower than that of the first thermoplastic resin and having the cross section of specific shapes. CONSTITUTION:The objective conjugate fiber is produced by spinning with a two-layer nozzle a thermoplastic resin such as polyolefin resin or polyamide resin as a resin component for the core layer 3 thereof and a thermoplastic resin having a melting point lower by >=10 deg.C than that of the first thermoplastic resin as a component for the sheath layer 2 thereof and has a circular shape at the cross section thereof and a noncircular shape at the cross section of the above-mentioned core layer 3. When the cross-sectional area of the core layer/the cross-sectional area of the conjugate fiber is represented as A, the length of the outer periphery of the core layer cross section is preferably >=1.1A X the length of the outer periphery of the conjugate fiber cross section.
