摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the coagulation and accumulation of a process gas on an area around a rotor, and improve corrosion resistance by applying the constitution that a film made of a nickel-tin alloy film with tetrafluoroethylene resin coagulated like fine powder is formed on the process gas contact surface of a molecular pump. SOLUTION: Regarding a compound molecular pump to draw process gases through an intake port 12, and discharge the gases from an exhaust port 13, surface treatment is applied to the inner surface of the intake port 12 and the gas contact surface parts of each member of a rotor 1, a stationary blade 7, a distance piece 8, a stator 9 and a lower housing 11, all having process gas contact surfaces. In other words, the surface treatment is applied to the outer surface of each member in such a way as forming a nickel film, a nickel- phosphorous film. and a nickel-tin alloy film with ethylene tetrafluoride resin fine power coagulated. In this case, the nickel film is formed to have thickness between 0.1 and 2μm, and the nickel-phosphorus film to thickness between 1 and 20μm, using the electroless plating method.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fluorinated surface layer excellent in corrosion resistance to halogen-based corrosive gas, excellent resistance to acid and alkali and excellent stability and durability by forcibly oxidizing the surface of a metal material or a metallic coating film and forming a fluorinated layer having specified film thickness on the surface. SOLUTION: The surface of a metal material such as aluminum, aluminum alloy, copper and copper alloy or a metallic coating such as nickel coating formed by electrolytic or electroless plating on a base body is forcibly oxidized. The forced oxidation is preferably carried out by using an oxidative material such as oxygen, especially oxygen produced on the anode by anodic oxidation method, or nitrogen suboxide, nitrogen peroxide, ozone, nitric acid, and hydrogen peroxide. Then the forcibly oxidized film is allowed to react with a fluorinating gas. As the fluorinating gas, fluorine, chlorine trifluoride, nitrogen fluorude or diluted gas of these compds. with inert gas are preferably used. Thereby, oxygen in the forcibly oxidized film is replaced by fluorine to form a fiuorlnated layer and a fluorine-diffused layer having >=1 μm film thickness.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the releasability, wear resistance and corrosion resistance of a die by applying strike nickel plating to the surface of a die of a sealing material and thereafter forming nickel-phosphorus-tungsten coating film thereon by electroless plating. SOLUTION: On the surface of a sealing material forming die in contact with a melted sealing material, a nickel plating layer is formed by a strike plating method. On the surface, nickel-phosphorus-tungsten film is formed by an electroless plating method, or, after the formation of strike nickel plating, nickel-phosphorus film is formed by electroless plating, and furthermore, nickel- phosphorus-tungsten film is formed thereon by electroless plating. By the application of the strike nickel plating, the subsequently formed electroless plating layer and the die base are firmly and closely adhered. The thickness of the nickel coating shall be regulated to an extremely thin one, and ordinarily, it is regulated to about 0.1 to 2μm. The nickel-phosphorus film relaxes and evades stress caused by the hardness of the nickel-phosphorus-tungsten film formed thereon.

Also, it is recommended to add Ni-P-W plating to increase friction strength especially. In this case, it is also effective to perform chromate treatment to the upper surface and then coat the surface with chromium oxide film. Thus, a rare-earth element iron permanent magnet which easily becomes rusty is superb in corrosion-resistance effect and does not produce rust after long periods of use under a severe environment.
