摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a composition capable of suppressing the peroxidation reaction of lipid, etc., on the skin caused by singlet oxygen. CONSTITUTION:This singlet oxygen-eliminating composition having the above effects can be produced by compounding a singlet oxygen-eliminating agent such as carotenoid (e.g. alpha-, beta- or gamma-carotene, lycopene, cryptoxanthin, lutein, zeaxanthin, isozeaxanthin, rhodoxanthin, capsanthin and crosetin), 1,4 diazacyclooctane, 2,5-dimethylfuran, 2-methylfuran, 2,5-diphenylfuran, 1,3- diphenylbenzofuran, alpha-, beta-, gamma- or gamma-tocopherol, histidine, tryptophan, methionine, alanine or its alkyl ester as an essential component. The above reactions caused by an excessive amount of active oxygen on the skin can be suppressed by using the above composition in combination with a chain transfer-inhibiting antioxidant such as dibutylhydroxytoluene, dibutylhydroxyanisole or gallic acid ester.

CONSTITUTION:A main body 1 is in a cylindrical shape forming the flow passage of working fluid and a loading hole 3 for loading a hair bundle 2 is formed at one terminal. A sealing means 4 prevents fluid from leaking out of the loading hole 3 and the hair bundle 2 which is loaded is expanded in the lengthwise direction of the flow passage. Further, an intake part 5 for the working fluid has its flowing-out port formed so that the working fluid flows in the lengthwise direction of the flow passage. Then, a sound collected by an acoustic collecting means 6 has unnecessary noises removed through a filter 7 and is amplified 8 and inputted to a processor 9. This processor 9 analyzes the sound to obtain data corresponding to the surface property of the hair.

Then, about the height image after the deforming correction, the reference image is superposed on the measured image, the total of the absolute values of the differences between height values which each picture element has is computed on superposed parts, and a moving quantity of the measured image at which this value becomes the minimum is set down as the optimum moving quantity.

摘要： PURPOSE:To measure the physical property of a deep part of the viscoelastic body by transmitting an ultrasonic wave from one piezoelectric element to the viscoelastic body and receiving it by the other piezoelectric element, and measuring its waveform variation and phase delay. CONSTITUTION:An oscillation part 4 and a reception part which consist of the piezoelectric elements are pressed against a skin at an interval of prescribed size. A signal generated by a signal generation part 2 is amplified by an amplifier 3 and the oscillation part 4 is driven to generate the ultrasonic wave, which is propagated in the skin. This ultrasonic wave is received by the reception part 5. The output of the reception part 5 is amplified by an amplifier 6. The outputs of the amplifiers 3 and 6 are passed through a filter 7 to remove noise and then inputted to a waveform storage device to fix their waveforms. The fixed waveforms are transferred to a computer 9, which performs phase comparison and fast Fourier transform analysis to find the propagation speed of the ultrasonic wave as a frequency spectrum.
