摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a packaging device automating such a process that each steel sheet cap is put on both ends of a packaging body of a steel coil covered with a paper packing material. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical packaging body 2 consists of a ramp 41 setting height of the center line constant and keeping it horizontality, a pressing plate 43 undulating in space between a vertical position and a horizontal position at both end sides of this packaging body 2, a driving part 44 getting this pressing plate 43 undulated and moved in front and in the rear, and a cap feeding part 45 positioning a cap 29 horizontally on the pressing plate 43 for feeding. The pressing plate 43 fed with the cap is stood erect in parallel with an end face of the packaging body 2 and, after centering with the packaging body 2 is carried out by a centering head installed in the pressing plate 43 projectingly, this plate 43 is advanced formward, fitting the cap 29 in the end of the packaging body 2. The cap feeding part 45 takes out the cap 29 successively from a cap forming machine producing the cap 29 from a cap material roll, conveying it to the pressing plate 43.

After that, the free spindle 6a on the leaving stand 8 is conveyed to the temporally placing stand 22 by the conveying device 20 and conveyed to the specified stacking area from the temporally placing stand 22 by the crane.

By pushing this bended inner peripheral iron plate into the inside along the inner peripheral surface of a fixed guide ring through a slit-shaped opening part of the fixed guide ring 24 having approximately C-shaped cross section which is arranged around the metallic roll 21, the edge part 5a at the front end and the edge part 5b at the rear end are overlapped after forming the iron plate into a cylindrical shape and the piece 6 of the adhesive tape in the edge part of the rear end is fixed in the edge part of the front end by passing these overlapped edge parts of the front and rear ends through between the metallic roll 21 and the elastic roll 22.

摘要： PURPOSE:To automatically wind a sheet steel on the outer periphery of a package wherein a steel plate coil is wrapped with a paper packaging material. CONSTITUTION:The title packaging device is equipped with a rotating/driving mechanism 40 which rotates a cylindrical package 2 under a condition wherein the package 2 is lifted and supported by a mandrel 42, and steel plate-feeding mechanism 41 which horizontally feeds an outer peripheral packaging steel plate 26 of a specified size toward the outer peripheral lower end surface of the rotating package 2. The steel plate 26 is let off from a steel plate coil 55 and cut so as to be adjusted to the outer diameter and width of the package 2, and a hot melt adhesive is applied on the leading end, and an adhesive tape is affixed on the rear end. The steel plate 26 is pressed to the outer periphery of the package by a pressing roller 50 from the leading end, and an automatic winding is started by the rotating force of the package 2. At this time, a tension is applied to the outer peripheral steel plate 26 by a magnet conveyor 60. Then, at the winding completed point, the front and rear end parts of the outer peripheral steel plate 26 are connected by the adhesive tape.

At the same time, a sponge tape 27 is supplied from an opposite direction to the external iron plate 26 toward a lower end face of an outer periphery corner (m) of the cylinder 2, and the supplied sponge tape 27 is adhered to and wound around the outer periphery corner (m) of the cylinder 2 while holding the tape 27 by a vacuum roller 50. At the time of winding the tape 27, tension is applied in a pulling direction so that almost a half of a width of the sponge tape 27 protruding from the cylinder 2 is naturally folded onto the end face of the cylinder 2.

By pressing the pressing plate 143 against the end face of the steel plate coil, the boss flange 4b is fitted into an inner diameter part of the coil and also the peripheral flange 4c is fitted to a periphery of the coil, thereby obtaining an integrated package 102.
