    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embossed carrier tape wherein an electronic part for an area package can be stably placed in a recessed part for storing by tapered face supporting and it can be applied widely to the variety of parts for the area package with such shapes as different dimensions or full grid, etc., and it can be transferred and handled without generating damages on ball terminals existing in the package. SOLUTION: A recessed part 1 for storing has a depth by which ball terminals B of a package P to be supported are not brought into contact with the inner bottom face 11 of the recessed part 1 for storing and a tapered face 12 for receiving the edge parts of the package outer shape is formed on the lower part of the side wall faces 13 of the recessed part 1 storing so as to intersect at an acute angles to the vertical face and to be continuous with the inner bottom face 11 and the angle of inclination θ of this tapered face 12 is formed in such a way that the ball terminals B are not brought into contact with the tapered face 12 in relation to the min. value of the distance between ball centers of the ball terminals from the outer end edge of the package, the max. value of the height of the balls and the max. value of the diameters of the balls.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier tape which, when an electronic part such as an area type LSI package is to be mounted thereon and even if this electronic part deviates somewhat in positioning, is designed to guide the electronic part, while automatically correcting its position on the carrier tape, accurately to a prescribed position in a housing recess so as to store it. SOLUTION: In a carrier tape, a multiplicity of housing recesses 2, each capable of housing a semiconductor package, are formed longitudinally at regular intervals. At each of four corners of the housing recess 2, a ledge 2a is formed so that the semiconductor package can be placed with its peripheral bottom fringes on the ledges. Alternately with such ledges 2a positioning parts 4 for horizontal positioning of the semiconductor package, which positioning parts 4 do the positioning by contact with the sides of the semiconductor package, are formed. The positioning part 4 is formed as an inclined surface which forms at a prescribed angle a wider opening toward the periphery of the housing recess 2.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embossed carrier tape which can automatically and accurately inspect the curvature or the like on the basis of the signal of an image of lead wires for electronic parts contained in a containing recess, taken by a camera. SOLUTION: A number of nearly rectangular parallelepiped containing recesses 12 opened on the surface are formed. An electronic parts 20 in which lead wires 22 are provided at two opposite sides of the body 21 is put in this containing recess 12. The contained image of the electronic parts 20 is taken by a camera and processed on the basis of the image signal to inspect the curvature of the lead wires 22, in this embossed carrier tape. An inclined contact face 12c slanting at an obtuse angle β against the bottom face 12a is formed at the lower edge of the two side walls 12b oppositely positioned against the lead wires 22 of the containing recesses 12, so as to be able to contact the front end of the lead wires 22. And positioning projections are formed at the other two side walls 12b of the containing recess 12 so as to be able to contact the body 21 of the electronic parts 20 to prevent the electronic parts from largely moving in the containing recess 12.

    • PURPOSE:To remove the powder of a medium surface to the outside of a disk and to obtain a high quality disk cassette by forming a small hole to penetrate a shell near the projection for fitting provided, fitted and integrated to the margin part of respective shells. CONSTITUTION:At an upper shell 1, respectively two small through holes 10 are provided at the position of about 2mm from the base of a projection 7a' and at the hollow bottom of a cylindrical projection 7b', a small through hole 10' is provided. Further, at the upper lower shells, cylindrical projections 7c and 7c' able to be mutually integrated in a fitting and inserting shape are formed and at the tip part of the projection 7c' of the upper shell 1, a small projection 8 for welding is formed. At the hollow bottom of the cylindrical projection 7c' of the upper shell 1 and the margin of the cylindrical projection 7c of the lower shell, small through holes 10' and 10 are provided. Thus, since the powder to occur at the time of an ultrasonic welding can be discharged to the external part, the powder is not stuck onto a disk medium.
