摘要： PURPOSE:To set the brick of a tuyere safely, in a short period with little workers. CONSTITUTION:In a device for setting the tuyere brick in a converter with a truck 11 self-travelling in the furnace bottom in the converter, a lifting table 12 liftably arranged, bracket rotatably fitted to the lifting table 12 and a tuyere brick holding device tiltably fitted to the bracket are arranged in the truck 11. The setting work of the tuyere brick can be executed by one or two workers, and also, the allignment of the tuyere brick can simply be executed. Further, further, fine adjustment, etc., before fitting the tuyere brick into a fitting hole can simply be executed.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle without stopping an operation by disposing a first slag hole refractory material fixed to the inside of a furnace and a second slag hole refractory material replaceably at its outside. SOLUTION: A side face of a furnace is surrounded by sidewall bricks 2, and furnace bottom bricks 5 are provided at a bottom. The slag hole comprises inner block slag hole bricks 1 of first slag hole refractory provided in an in- furnace 8 inside, and outer block slag hole bricks 4 of second slag hole refractory provided at an outside of the bricks 1. The bricks 1 are fixed, while the bricks 4 are replaceable. In the hole, the bricks 1, 4 are preferably constituted of silicon carbide bricks each having strong erosion resistance against a molten material.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously use a slag hole stably for a long period by providing a slag hole refractory and cooling boxes disposed on and at both sides capable of circulating cooling gas. SOLUTION: A side face of a furnace is surrounded by sidewall bricks 2. The slag hole comprises inner block slag hole bricks 4, outer block slag hole bricks 1 provided at its outside, and unshaped monolithic refractory layers 6 provided at both sides of the bricks 1. As the bricks 4 and 1, a silicon carbide bricks each having a high strength against a molten material are used. Water cooling boxes 7 are disposed at both sides and on the bricks 1. A cooling gas is supplied from inlet side piping 8a to the box 7 in a direction of an arrow. The gas flows in a zigzag manner in the box 7 to cool the hole bricks and is then exhausted from outlet side piping 8b.

摘要： PURPOSE:To repair a tuyere nozzle having multi holes without clogging of small through holes by flowing gas uniformly into the small through holes of tuyere nozzle having multi holes through plural pieces of pressure rooms arranged at the back side of small holes. CONSTITUTION:N2 gas is supplied into the each pressure room 5a-5c formed at the back side of plural small through holes 4 constituting the tuyere nozzle 2 having multi holes arranged at the furnace bottom 1 through introducing pipe 6a-6c. While injecting N2 gas from the small holes 4, the repairing work by thermal spray is executed to the damage part of inner face 4 of nozzle by burner, etc., at constant speed. In this case, as the N2 gas is uniformly flowed through all small holes 4, the weak position for N2 injecting flow is eliminated. Therefore, in case of repairing the damage part of nozzle 2 by the thermal spray, the hole penetrating ratio to the thermal spray film is improved, and the service lives of refractory lining for the inner wall of furnace and the nozzle 2 are well balanced and the unit cost of furnace material is reduced.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the flame spray repairing of damaged carbonizing chamber wall quickly even when the place of the damage is near the longitudinal center of a furnace body by a method wherein a board pushing device, pushing a ceramic fiber board, inserted into a combustion chamber through the inspection port of the same to prevent the blow-out of flame, against the penetrating damaged part, is provided. SOLUTION: A board pushing device 8 is set in a combustion chamber through an inspection port to push a board type body against a penetrating damaged part so that ceramic flame spray material, sprayed from a carbonizing chamber, will not be blown out into the combustion chamber. The ceramic fiber board or a carbon based board is employed for the board type body. The board pushing device 8 blocks the penetrating damaged part through the board type body 9, hang at the tip end of a board pushing arm 14, by turning an arm driving handle 16 to slant a board pushing arm 14 toward the direction of the penetrating damaged part by a warm gear 12 and a rack 13 through an arm driving shaft 17.
