    • PURPOSE:To obtain information without fail by a method wherein AC signals obtained by modulation and amplification of frequency from a sound output part are emitted in the form of magnetic field or radio waves to the road surface and at the same time, light is emitted from light-emitting bodies provided in the road surface. CONSTITUTION:A sound output part 5 outputs various information in specified frequency to a modulating part 7, and the modulating part 7 modulates the frequency of a local oscillator 11 to a specified frequency and outputs AC signals to an excitation output part 9. The output part 9 amplifies the AC signals and outputs the amplified signals in the form of magnetic field 23 to the road surface 19 through a signal cable 15 and its leakage part 21. Light- emitting bodies 25 buried in blocks 27 laid on the road surface 19 are made to emit light according to electric current signals sent through the cable 15. Thereby, a person requiring information can obtain the desired information by turning on a switch of a portable radio 13 when he is in an area where the light-emitting bodies 25 emit light.

    • PURPOSE:To provide only the person desirous of having information with the information and to reduce the cost of an information acquiring means for obtaining such information by operating a voice generating section by a driving signal from a driving section when a software magnetic material passes a magnetic field region. CONSTITUTION:A road side device 1 consists of an AC current generating section 2, a coil 3 for generating a magnetic field of a specified range by an AC signal, a driving section 7 which outputs a driving signal by a change in the magnetic field when the software magnetic material carried by a person enters the magnetic field region, a voice information section 9 which is operated by the driving signal from the driving section 7 and a voice generating section 11. The magnetic field is changed by the software magnetic material disposed within a stick when the sight handicapped person approaches a crossing or pedestrians' crossing, etc., and passes the magnetic field region. The driving section 7 outputs the driving section by such change in the magnetic field. The driving signal from the driving section 7 turns on the voice information section 9 and the information from the voice information section 9 is outputted as voices from the voice generating section 11. The person is thus able to obtain the desired information.
