In this case, both segments S, S are aligned on inserting the ring 16 into the recess 17 to position the insertion hole 12 and the joint 11. The outer peripheral face of the ring 16 is made to form a slope tapered off and the inner peripheral face of the recess 17 corresponding thereto is also made to form a slope to facilitate the aligning on assembling the segment S. In this way, a sufficient fastening force is secured and the segment is prevented from damage on assembling. And a shearing force is transmitted by the connection of the ring 16 with the recess 17 to reinforce the shearing.

摘要： PURPOSE: To connect segments to each other by conducting aligning, by arranging a pair of aligning recesses at the respectively corresponding end faces and fixing the base end of an aligning pin at one recess and inserting the front end into the other recess. CONSTITUTION: The front end of an insert joint 11 is positioned in the same plane with the end face Sa of a segment S and also the surface of a joint plate 13 is positioned in the same plane with the end face Sb and an insertion hole 12 of a bolt 15 is bored in the joint 11. In this case, aligning recesses are arranged on the end faces Sa, Sb to alighn segments by interposition of an aligning pin and reinforce the shearing. The base end of aligning pin is made conical and the front end thereof is made to form a conical trapezoid. The base end thereof is fixed to the conical aligning recess and the front end is inserted in the aligning recess. In this way, the joint can be easily fitted to a precast concrete body and it prevents damage thereof.

In this way, the labor for production of the segment S and the cost are reduced. the rigidity of the joint part is increased to prevent the ring from deforming. As a result, the structure gets more impervious.
