    • PURPOSE:To curtail the cost of an excavator by a method in which a rotary shaft is thrust and projected from a supporting frame, a second supporting arm is pivotally attached to both ends of a first supporting arm pivotally attached to the rotary shaft, and a bit to be driven by the rotary shaft is attached to the outer end of the arm. CONSTITUTION:A center bit 14 is attached to the lower end of a drill pipe 3 set in a well 2, and a first supporting arm 5 is pivotally attached to the upper part of the pipe 3. A second supporting arms 8 and 9 are pivotally attached to both ends of the arm 5 in a bendable manner, and outer ring bits 12 and 13 are attached to the end of the arm 5. At he beginning of excavation, the arms 5, 8, and 9 are bent and the bits 12 and 13 are contacted with the inner wall of the well 2 to excavate the inside ground of the well 2 in conjunction with the center bit 4. When the bits 12 and 13 reach the cutting edge of the well 2, the second arms 8 and 9 are opened, the excavating radius of the bits 12 and 13 is increased, thereby excavating the ground below the cutting edge of the well 2.

    • PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency of excavation by connecting the first and second bit shaft groups in which vertical bit shafts are pivotally attached to left and right-handed arms of a sidewardly turned support arm in such a way as to mutually turn them to the opposite directions by a driver. CONSTITUTION:The bearing part 2 of the arm 1a of a support arm consisting of two arm parts 1a and 1b is connected with the other arm 1b detachably by a connector 4. The bearing part 2 is also pivotally attached with a vertical drill pipe 6 having a bit 5 on its lower end and a bit shaft 7 to form the first bit shaft group A, which is turned to the same direction as the drill pipe 6. The bearing part 3 of the other arm 1b is pivotally attached with a bit shaft 12 having a bit 11 on its lower end to form the second bit shaft group B, which transmits the rotation in the opposite direction of the group A. The efficiency of excavation can thus be raised by such a simple constitution.

    • PURPOSE:To aim at the quantitative feed of granular body and their backflow prevention, by installing a screw feeder of a hollow shaft in a transport pipe at a hopper lower end, and having pressure air passing the hollow shaft jetted to a transport pipe diffuser part in front of the screw feeder. CONSTITUTION:A transport pipe 2 is connectedly installed in the lower part of a granular body storage hopper 1, and a screw feeder 4 is installed in this pipe. A shaft of the screw feeder 4 is formed into hollowness, and rotatably attached to a closing plate 3 at an end part of the transport pipe. A nozzle part 6 is formed in a tip of the hollow shaft, and in front of that, a diffuser part 7 is formed in the transport pipe 2. With this constitution, granules inside the hopper are quantitatively fed to the inside of the transport pipe by the screw feeder and what is more, the granular body is prevented from flowing back owing to jet from the nozzle for pressure air and negative pressure by an ejector action with the diffuser part.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain highly accurate measurement, long-term outdoor installation and read at a distant place from a measurement point by forming a gage so that a graduation line and an index line flatly intersects with each other in an installed state and measuring travel of the intersection of the graduation line and the index line due to displacement caused. SOLUTION: The displacement measuring gage comprises a flat plane A equipped with a graduation line 1 on a side of a plane (a) and a flat plane B equipped with a plurality of index lines 2 marked with an angle θ with respect to a shorter-side direction line having an equal length to that of the graduation line 1. The flat plane B is fixed to one of sides across a crack so that a displacement direction line S aligns with a displacement direction. Then the flat plane A is fixed to an object to be measured to overlap on the plane B to the other side across the crack so that the graduation line 1 is orthogonal to the displacement direction line 1 and intersects with at least one of the index lines 2. When displacement occurs on the object, the planes A, B are displaced in the displacement direction in opposite directions respectively, resulting in movement of a reading intersection 4 which is the intersection of the graduation line 1 and the index line 2. Thus this moving amount is measured to obtain an actual displacement amount.
